would anyone happen to know which and which ones are not KOs? ive been seeing these around and want to get a few, but im afraid of actually paying for a KO instead of the real thing. for example, real or fake?

That one is definitely a KO, because it's unpainted. However, the real thing comes in an identical box. Mine is one of those, but this actually makes me worry if mine is real or not....

However, looking at the description, I noticed the word "Justitoys". They are a company which specifically deals with KO/custom transformer products, so any time you see that word it will be an indicator.

Basically, KOs will be in odd colors, or of figures Takara never produced. There are lists of all the ones actually made, but I don't know exactly where to find one... Actually, Remy's site (tfkenkon.com) has galleries of all the officially produced WST's listed under "Extreme Tiny GTF" here:

My gut feeling tells me it's a KO too. Based on Takara's official numbering system:

Regular = C-78
Black = C-78B (non wst though)
Red = C-78R (shouldn't be confused with C-78, so should be a KO)

Just my silly 2cents.

Cheers!

From the link you provided, only the 2 right Convoy cabs & most right trailer are official.

I've taken pics of official trailer vs. KO trailer:

Hope this information helps. KO trailers go for about $10-$20 each piece, they look 95% like the official ones and their qualities are pretty much the same. Besides the differences are so small on these WST's, so just get the KOs if the official ones are too expensive.

Below are some pics of my WST Convoy Team (official trailer not in these pics yet), the collection is still growing as new shipments are arriving weekly. I love these things!

PS: Tom, sorry for flooding your thread with heavy pics, please flag your thread title with "heavy pics", thanks man!

Cheers!

no, thank you very much coolpop. always droppin' some knowledge :D . the pics were a really big help. im actually looking for a wst trailer, but im looking for an official one.... i just want one, not a lot, so id like to have the official one. its hard to tell apart which ones on ebay are official or not, there not even any lists or sites that say things to look out for fake wsts, until now. thanks coolpops, good looking out. happy hunting.

A good way to tell the difference will be the price. The official WST Prime Trailer was a chase figure, and so it will be very expensive compared to the KOs.

And coolpop, yours is really one of the coolest collections I've seen! Every time I see that armada of tiny trucks & trailers I love it! :D

Good point... I guess you just have to try and spot the differences. Hopefully you could ask the seller for detailed pictures.

Thanks guys, glad you are enjoying my WST Convoy+Trailer collection.

Tom, here's an on-going ebay auction for official WST Trailer, I believe it's from this forum's member HighPrime, you may consider taking a shot at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/WST-Chase-G1-Optimu ... dZViewItem

Usually if seller post a picture with Takara's WST box, it's a good chance the item is official. Good luck bro!

Cheers!
