I am trying to buy a couple of transformers, but being new to this whole collecting thing, I need some opinions on some of these. Please give an explanation if possible as well. I want to see as many opinions as possible.

1. HFTD Bumblebee or DOTM Bumblebee (please tell me which is the better figure, and if HFTD Bee is chosen, tell me if its still worth the higher price point. Its $40 currently compared to $10)

2. Evasion Mode Optimus Prime vs HFTD Voyager Optimus (Really would like explanation for this one)

3. DOTM Voyager Megatron vs Last Knight Voyager Megatron (I know this is a little early, but an opinion would be nice. Also, any idea a specific month when this LK megatron will come out, and at what price?)

4. DOTM deluxe starscream vs (just it vs all the other decepticons, preferably voyager or deluxe. Name the other decepticon as well if you choose it over DOTM deluxe starscream. It doesnt have to be a movie related decepticon)

Please tell me which order I should pick them in as well, ie. 1: Evasion Optimus 2: DOTM Bee.......

Also, if possible, please tell me which of the newer transformers as well as the generations/classics line is:
The best autobot toy (please tell 2)

The best decepticon toy (please tell 2)

Sorry if this is a lot, but I'm a new collector without the highest budget in the world.

I'm against all form of B's in the Bayverse

Seriously, if there is a god there must be a demon.So if you get megs, you need an Optimus.

I'd get the new LK Megs over DOTM. The last two great megs were from the first and RotF.

Starscream in the Bayverse turns me off so again, once you go MP you won't go back.

Evasion mode Optimus harkens on my G1 biases ( I own the revised color release by Takara). So I'd go there, try getting the Takara original version if you can afford it.

any other opinions? I want as many as possible to make decisions. By the way, masterpiece is probably too expensive for me currently

I'd say HFTD if only because it has better looking paint. Though not sure its worth $40. Probably stick with DOTM Bee given the price.

Evasion Mode Prime takes an alt mode, that they said was impossible given the structure of the robot mode. G1 looking flat nose truck, a super interesting transformation and a great looking robot mode. Also repaints galore for you to choose from depending on what paint job appeals to you more. Though sme of the releases may be harder to come by than others.

While HTFD is o.k, but has nothing really exceptional. He's fine, he looks good, he's just not quite as cool as Evasion Mode.

I'd say Evasion Mode is the better figure.

Well Truck vs Jet, kind of hard. DOTM Megs is pretty cool with his scarred face, and tarp cloak. But there's something about the new one that just looks quite a bit cooler to me. Though I'll probably end up getting the Leader class one, I'd say the voyager is still a good figure in its own right.

I'd go go the new one.

No experience with that one... so all I can say is, if you want a jet he's great. If you want something else... like a cool car, maybe consider Dark of the Moon Human Alliance Soundwave. He's about Voyager sized.

As for order, Evasion Prime, Starscream / Soundwave if you choose him, Bumblebee, TLK Megatron (since he's not out yet, he's last)

Best Autobot: Probably a tie between HardHead, Blurr and Topspin

Best decepticon: Triggerhappy, no contest at all. Weirdwolf err.. Wolfwire or Krok in distant second.
