I need to know, which one is the better buy.. i like the original, yet the RM version seems to have better articulation and a better torso design.. which do I buy??

I need recommendations.. also anyone know the cheapest place I can get either one?

I found one on ebay buy it now 140.00 plus shipping.. should I get the 2 pack or look for it elsewheres?

i dont have either, but i would go with the 2-pack. they seem way cooler.

I'd go for the original -vs- pack for the simple reason it would be a harder find thus making it more satisfying to get.

Plus it's the full sized version of Lio Convoy.

I can't afford both, its either the one which is probably cheaper, being the RM or go for the gusto and get the lio vs galvatron beast wars 2 pack...

what i want to know is which is the better lio convoy and why?

Also is Magmatron vs Big convoy.. is that a good buy??

B/t the two convoys, I couldn't make a decision. Lio Convoy is awesome, even with all the kibble. The lion is a neat mode to display in, the robot is fantastic, though the armament is a little lacking. Big Convoy makes for an imposing mammoth...that doesn't do anything...but the robot mode more than makes up for it. Poseability was kinda restricted, but that's not a real issue for a shelf guy.

So the decision comes down to Galvatron v. Magmatron

Galvatron always seemed just a bit off to me. Maybe it was the gold gun pieces hanging off his dragon neck. Or maybe it was the lilac. I had days where I really liked him, and days where I didn't.

But I had the same love/hate with Magmatron. The bot is awesome at first, but then there isn't much transforming value. He sits around alot, and looks menacing...kinda like Big convoy.

I'd say if you want to TF your guys and have some decent playability, then go for the Lio Convoy vs. Galvatron. If you want two guys that look GREAT in robot mode, and just ok in the beast, then get Big Convoy v Magmatron.

Of all 4, I only kept the Lio Convoy, if that helps your decision at all, though I really wish I had kept my Big Convoy. The Galvatron stayed in the collection for about a year, and the Magmatron stayed for about two weeks.

BTW, kinda related, anybody know the quality on that Korean boxed Big Convoy floating around on ebay? I've been looking at it for months, and can't bring myself to buy it if it's just crappy plastic.

I hate RM's. Such poor quality.

Personally i'd say yes.

I have the Korean version of Big Convoy and while there's really nothing wrong with it i'd love the Japanese version.

And at this point in time i'd settle for any version of Magmatron as I don't have him at all.

But Big Convoy is definitely a great figure to pick up. Made even nicer if you have his Nemesis counterpart.

Questions, questions. RM Lio Convoy is the better mold for the character. Magmatron is pretty damn cool. The Korean Big Convoy is the same quality product as the Takara version. How does this question still come up anyway? Out of all the questions of what to buy, I'd go with Big Convoy/Magamatron. Both are really nice IMO. Full size Lio Convoy really dissappointed me while the RM mold is light years better. Better sculpt all around. As for Galvatron, well, I'm looking to buy him at Botcon so besides saying I think he looks pretty darn cool, I've got nothing to base an opinion of him on. So, he looks pretty cool. Heh. Check the galleries to answer some of your questions here.

I did check the galleries, and there all soo awesome its hard to choose.. but I think Lio Convoy in the large original version is the one for me, I mean you can't beat the 2 pack for the same price as one lio Convoy, so i purchased it..

On the other hand, i have seen alot of Big Convoys running around and I gotta say, big convoy looks great!!! I love his bot mode, the huge gun and the imposing look...not to mention how cool he looks in fan art...didn't TF Universe have a Big Convoy, but under a different name? Also I don't own any RM.. I have been hesitant due to comments on the quality of the figures..i.e. things falling off, or falling over, loose joints, is that a truth or just a few bad ones??
