Help with Combiner Wars Brawl Fix?

Postby IAmAtlas » Fri Dec 04, 2015 5:45 am

I recently bought the new Combiner Wars Brawl, and upon opening it, I've found that both shoulder joints at the body (swivel joints with pins) are incredibly loose and can't sustain their own weight. It doesn't hinder the toy in any form, but this makes posing almost impossible. This is my first post, and I've attempted some fixes before, but never on a joint that can't be taken apart. Does anybody know if there is a possible fix for this, or am I just out of luck with this one?

I would suggest dripping floor polish in the gap it's good for tightening hinges you can't get to pieces as it sets hard but also flows into thinner gaps than varnish - if the gap is big enough you can also slide a thin candy wrapper with a little acrylic varnish or clear nail polish into the gap too.

I had to use the floor polish trick on Combiner Wars Cyclonus chest cover hinge as that was stupid loose on my toy.
