Frankly it serves more purpose than you asking what the point of the thread is.

Was Bay fit to direct? Dunno, someone else may have done a better job, they may have done a worse job, personally I feel he didn't a good enough job.

its hard to say, i do think the movie could have been better but is Bay the only one to blame here? he didnt do everything himself (write/produce/edit and direct). there were a lot of other people behind the movie as well...

wow! there are a lot of really "goddy" people on here, its kinda funny... i mean, lighten up, this is a TRANSFORMERS site, dont be so freakin serious all the time guys. and im not just talking about the comments on this thread, i see them all over. its like, "Oh. My. God. i just used the energy to click on this link and thats what you had to say?! how dare you, you freakin moron! dont you relize who i am? i have X amount of posts! [-( " just relax, we're all here to have fun, talk, and share thought on transformers. dont like a topic or thread? heres an idea, dont respond, its that easy, it really is! here, try it now...

If you believe Bay in a lot of his interviews he claims he made a lot of the decisions. He didn't like the original story and thought it was to "kiddy". He decided he was going to call Brawl Devestator despite what the writers or producers said. There are a lot of things I have read that he claims he is responsible for whether it be good or bad so I can see where a lot of people might blame him for different aspects of the movie.
