It is fake. For a few reasons.

And a guy randomly pulling out a gun not being one of them, because people are just @#$%ing nuts enough to do that.

1. The music, honestly if it was real, why did they even both putting that entire sketch in the show in the first place, complete with zany cut off music when he pulls out the gun.

2. It's on youtube. Since youtube seems to find any excuse to pull something from their site, why would they decide to leave a video showing a kid getting murdered up?

3. The sound effects from the gun were all wrong, the gunshots would have been a lot louder than what they were since it was being shot into a small enclosed space, there would have been an amplified echo type thingy.

3a. If the gun was real, and firing actual shots, we would have seen some activity coming out of the back of the mail-box. I don't care what kind of gun you use, at that close of a range the bullet would go through flesh hit the back of the mail-box and then come out the other side, tearing a nice large hole in the mail-box itself. Especially considering most of the angles the guy fired at would have sent a bullet hitting the back of the mail-box in the cameras field of view.

Considering all that, I'm pretty positive that it's fake.

I'm pretty sure that's fake. There should be holes being blown out of the back of the box, but there is none present.

Also, if you read the comments and look on the net, you'll find that the guy they put in the box is still alive and kicking.

no exit wounds, and a dead body in a fake plastic mailbox would probably topple over.

thats even if russian mailboxes look like that.
