As far as DSL vs. cable speaking speed-wise, there are some areas where DSL speeds FAR surpass that of cable...and I happen to live in one of those areas....My high-speed DSL kicks the crap out of the cable internet everyday of the week and twice on Sunday!

I've said "So far so good," before, and then everything usually goes wrong at once. It has the same effects as "It's quiet...too quiet..." and "How could this get any worse?"
