Holy Hollywood! I can see into the future!

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Holy Hollywood! I can see into the future!

So if you joined up before or at the same time as me to the site, you might know that there was a guy who wanted to make a G1 comic continuing from where the Rebirth left out and I was a part of that project. My job was to do the character designs. Well the boss wanted a Soundwave and a Shockwave, they should have more realistic alt-modes that make more sense than a tape-deck and a blaster respectively. So he decided that Shockwave should be a satellite while Soundwave was to be a Satellite dish...
Well I got it mixed up and thought Soundwave was to be a Satalite so I did a ruff design to give him a basic idea of what I envisioned. But since Soundwave was to be a Satellite dish and not a Satellite I never did anything with it past this ruff sketch. I just rediscovered this today while I was browsing my photobucket account to decide what I can get rid off.

And I thought "Holly hell, that looks like a sketchy, crappy and blocky version of ROTF Soundwave!
You can see the panels on his back, his shoulders and the similar feet.

I'm not saying that they stole my design as there is no way anyone could have seen this as it was only posted in that private comic forum which no longer exists.

So you can Imagen that I just went :BOOM: when I saw this.

How exactly would Soundwave transforming into a satellite dish work? Surely not one of those TV dishes.

I still have no idea, the comic project died before I could even start thinking of a halfway logical transformation. After-all he didn't want any size-mass change or robot-mode floating going on in the comic which is why I had to redesign Galvatron to turn into a bigger alt-mode and have a jetpack.
