I just laid my paws on a PRiD vehicon (thanks Knightstrike!) and for the first time in my life I find myself wanting to buy a few duplicate molds. I've always felt buying duplicates to be a waste of time and space so I don't actually want to spend money on them - I'll only buy them if they ever reach Argos so I can use some of my gift vouchers. If this happens I think I'll keep one as is, paint one to look new and paint the third to look very battle worn. Anyway, my question is:

How many Vehicons do you want to buy?

I already have 3 (1 FE Takara, 1 FE Hasbro, 1 RID) and with another 3 more to go (Am14 and 2 AM16(air vehicon)).

Was supposed to stop at 5 but impulse bought a FE Hasbro for no apparent reason..

Darn army building temptation..

I don't have much interest in army building, but I do enjoy having my PRiD and cyberverse Vehicons menacingly brandishing their guns next to each other. I'd like to get a FE vehicon and a jet vehicon, but only if they get a US Hasbro release.

I only have 1 FE, will get the PRID one and the Jet one. 3 seems enough, and they are all different molds.

I'd like to have 5 Steves. But until the wave with 2 in each case, that's not exactly a realistic goal for me.

I have FE as Eradicon leading the Vehicons and 2 PRIDs. I want to add upcoming AM and 2 Jets, that should be sufficient I think! ;)^ :VEHI:

I have one deluxe PRID, and thats the only one I will be getting. However, I have 6 cyberverse vehicons....and have decided that is plenty.

I figure that is the only way you can have a close equal number of decepticons to autobot ratio.

If you see it....and want to get another (and won't hurt yourself financially), then do it. You seem to have a closer grip on a realistic number then some who have and will try and collect dozens. I think a smart and "realistic" Hasbro would have put 2 of these per case instead of one, as the thought of him being sought after for this purpose alone should have crossed Hasbro's mind?

i decided awhile back that army building the deluxes, Japanese or American, would be too cost prohibitive unless something goes on clearance.
decided to do it with the prime legion and have ended up with 7 legion Vehicons, 4 with the old mold gun, 3 with the new.

I only want one car Vehicon. I never understood the urge to troop build. Buying more than one of the exact same character seems wasteful to me. The only time I did it was a few times when a mold I already had was part of a lot I was buying on eBay.

Takara is releasing a Jet Vehicon and I'm still hoping for a Miner Vehicon someday. That being said, there's the potential to have 3 Vehicons with 3 different alt modes.

1 of each tooling, i.e. 1 car, 1 jet, 1 miner, etc. Exact copies just don't appeal to me.

I used to think that getting three of any "cannon fodder" type TF would be cool, but I've never actually done so. Cost aside, I'm seriously running out of display space even when putting my figs on rotation.

Right now, army building is out of the question.

I picked up one today and plan on getting one or two more. Having two flank their commanding officer seems enough, but three would put me with a squad...

If the Jet vehicon sees US release, two to three of those as well. I did buy three legion vehicons for the full squad, though.

You know, I would'nt mind having three of them myself, but as mentioned before, ONE even would be a nice find at this point. Personally, due to the rarity of this figure, If I find any I will take one while leaving the others for other collectors (hidden and announced in my local sightings forum). Then later on when the revision cases hit and there are a little more to go around I might pick up the extra two. It's only right to do this with so little currently available.

I've army built (well, squad built) with Star Wars (stormtroopers) and GI Joe (Vipers) before, but it never made sense with TFs to me, at least until the CHMS purple seeker, and now Vehicons. I don't think I'll do it, but if I did, I'd probably like 1 FE, 2 PRID, 1 AM, and 1 of the jet types. The AM version would be a "heavy weapons trooper".

Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

I'd be happy with one if I could ever find it. But as you all know Hasbro left a monkey in charge of case assortment. Which means we're drowning in the banana colored figure where the highly sought after and obvious troop builder is short packed.

If by some miracle Hasbro actually lets an intelligent human decide case assortment and Vehicon becomes easily available I'll get 2.

I have to say I'm amazed at the lack of army building intent from you guys!

I'd forgotten about the flight drones as I haven't seen any decent pictures. Maybe I'll just get two of each and paint one of each. As soon as I saw the design of PRiD vehicons I lost interest in the FE version, even if it got a domestic release I won't bother with getting one.
