i want to draw armada starscream doing this

my problem is whenever starscream uses his wing sword the other wing would provide drag when he would dash towards the enemy, which ruins the impression of speed. drawing the piece as dual swords kinda ruins the feeling of power (one sword swung with two hands > one sword swung single handedly)
how should i draw this? (mechanical question)

How about giving him a ligt saber?
