Hybrid Prime - do you have it?
Hey guys,
I searched for this but didn't find any topics about it...so sorry if it's been posted before - do any of you have THS-02? Is he worth it? I kind of asked too late because I just ordered the black version off of TFsource.com along with MP-05...Look forward to their upcoming battle!
Is he all die-cast? Good quality?
Thanks for your input!

Hybrid Prime is a must have.
Though as MegaDave said, the battle would be a 'short' one, as Megs would stomp all over him.

The thing I like about hybrid prime is that you can get a really decent display in a nice compact space.

heh cool a posing stand! i'll make him flex his muscles?
i'm pretty sure he can take mp-05, he'll have smallest grimlock to take the other leg - and of course he has matrix power
One other question - is he all die-cast?
thanks

Funny, I don't like him that much, though it does come with Roller. I got the e-hobby version asw well, but haven't opened it. I personally like Robot Master Prime as my favorite of all the small Primes.

REALLY?!?
Ive always felt that RM Convoy was one of the weakest versions of the charecter that's been made (heck even the classics 'copy' was conciderably better, if only for having a much nicer detailed robot mode.

He looks good in Robot Mode and is one of those figures that you can just pick up, transform back and forth and put back on the shelf. I do like the Classics Battle Pack one to, though I think the spinning waist gimmicg gets in the way.

I have:
THS-01 Galaxy Convoy
THS-02 Convoy
THS-02B Black Convoy
My galaxy Convoy has some problems with it, but both of my THS-02's are awesome. It is a lot of money but the figure is just done so well...especially the E Hobby Black Convoy.

It does, but my real issue with RM is that his alt mode is compromised for the robot mode, AND quite frankly, the robot mode is a little compromised for the alt mode. The classics version has a robot mode that hasnt been in anyway sacrificed for the sake of the alt mode (and the alt mode is a little better than RM too).
Ive heard too many horror stories about RM's waist to tf him too often.

I much preferred Galaxy Force Convoy to G1 Convoy. G1 Convoy just didn't work for me. May have been his truck mode or the lesser quality in making mine had I dunno.
Or I could just be getting tired of all the different versions of Convoy/Prime.

It could end up like the "micro-bots" episode from the G1 catroon. All shrunk down to layeth the smacketh down on Megs.Redimus wrote:Hybrid Prime is a must have.

But seriously, it's pretty bitchin'

hm
I think the thing with HBS02 is that it's just amazing that something so small could be so detailed, sport such a complex transformation and actually be more articulated than MPO1.
That said...."something so small" is still really bothersome.
I mean, he's the size of a Minibot, really...well...a tad bigger...but smaller than a Robotmaster.... it's just wierd...
I think I'll take a cue from someone who said that MP03 is like "Designer Starscream"...
Hybrid Style Convoy is Designer Optimus Prime
