I got to see the movie last night!

I liked most of the Decepticons and Autobots, I think they really looked cool. Blackout and Barracade were AWSOME, and when Barracade was driving around looking for Sam and Bumblebee, he really looked menacing.

I liked when the military were after Blackout and were fighting Scorponok, that was cool.

I liked most of the designs too, though some of the heads could have been made better. I like how they have claws and teeth, and it never implies in the movie what they consume for energy, so maybe the teeth are actually necessary.

I liked Starscream for the most part, but the fast shots Bay employed almost never let me get a good look at him or the others.

The one big gripe I have about the movie was that it focused too much on the humans. I don't have much of a problem with the military or action sequences, for which Bay kicks butt, but with the overt love story in the movie. And it isn't really a love story. It is more like a lusting over her rather then a "I really care about her" sort of thing. I got the hint of this when you see him really staring at her flat abs and her butt in that mini-skirt. He was more intent with having her so he could lay with her, rather then really caring for her as a person and not just for her body. So it kind of cheapened his character a bit in my eyes.

I liked the movie overall, aside from those detractions.

There was something interesting that I got to see on my way to the movie. I got to see a flat-nosed red semi, and it looked like G1 Prime, but minus the white bits. It didn't have a trailer though. What was odd was that this was the first time I had ever seen one of these in person before. Before that it was only in pictures and descriptions.

I liked it. It was cool, and I hope Mr. Bay makes another. Only I hope he learned what most of the audience didn't like about the movie, and will try to keep that stuff out of it in the future. I just didn't like the "lust story" that was in it.
