Technically, the very first Hot shot wasn't a kid-appeal yellow car type. He was older. A competent, gruff, commanding officer of an elite team of commando ninjas. No, I'm not making this up. Here's what he looked like.BeastProwl wrote:I long for the good old days, Armada, Energon, Cybertron. Before Bumblebee came and got re-introduced in the films, it was all about that OTHER yellow car! Is it such a bad thing to want to see him again? Maybe we'll see him in prime. I doubt it. But I can't be the only one who misses Hotshot, as apposed to mr EVERYWERE Bumblebee...
Hasbro said they will never release any unfinished Animated toys (meaning Hot Shot, Marauder Megatron, or Powermaster Optimus Prime).BeastProwl wrote:Blurrz wrote:Even though they never released the Animated Hot Shot toy (could be a possibility in the future), I'd be done with Hot Shot. 150+ episodes across 3 seasons, generally centered on his character is enough for me.
I Really don't see a possibility for release, unless they plan on releasing all those un-used prototypes into the Generations line, wich by all means, they can be my guest. But this I highly doubt.

So, I guess that makes the kid from Armada is another case of name recycling.

I could see him being based off the Universe Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold.BeastProwl wrote:I Mentioned him in the above post, he was a spychanger, and to this day, I wish for an updated articulated classics version of him, but they did it all wrong. they based it off of the armada design, so that likely wont happen.

Maybe. I mention it because many of the Spychanger molds appear to be inspired by the G1 Sideswipe toy mold.BeastProwl wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I could see him being based off the Universe Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mold.BeastProwl wrote:I Mentioned him in the above post, he was a spychanger, and to this day, I wish for an updated articulated classics version of him, but they did it all wrong. they based it off of the armada design, so that likely wont happen.
