Hey GP108! I like the idea of a Defensor homage. Superion is to sleek to do him from Overload. But OL's bulkiness and general facial appearance remind me of Defensor. The 'con Gestalts don't have the Overload vibe to them either. The other options didn't stand out for me either, but big D has my vote. As has been said earlier...do what you are going to have the most fun with! Look forward to the project.

Unless you do some kind of alternate reality... originality is difficult, especially in a fandom where most of our creative efforts are simple minor modifications (to both visual representations of characters in toys or art, and fiction) Like Giant Planet Transformers who just happen to be homages to gestalts, who have Mini-Cons who just happen to be homages to those gestalts's members. again, derivitive, since it's Giant Planet, but then it's all derivitive when you're working within a pre-existing universe.

With the constant drain of Energon in their previous forms, the Protectobots realized their size limited them to being able to save humans during natural desasters.
So each Member of the Team oppted for more useable forms.

New Micromaster (Mini-con) Bodies were constructed and a rescue rig/base/power suit that could transform into a larger body in which each
Micromaster protectobot joined via a control plug allowing them to not only add their power to the power suit but to use their own third mode (weapons form) with the power suit.

Just something I thought up in 4 minutes :lol:

he makes for a good um. i made one not to long ago with a modded rid um head with the ear pipes. i'll post a link when i get a chance to get to my comp at school. it'll be tues probably.

.i have it worked out in my head to take some minicons,do the paint job,and attach pieces of the very small plastic animal toys you can get by the bucketload to make the individual predacons.ta dah.
