What does it mean to be a DECEPTICON in a postwar universe? Was MEGATRON’s rise to power the inevitable consequence of configurative determinism? Is it possible to "disprove" an ideology? Who decided that all the badges should be purple? In this issue, the Scavengers ponder at least one of these questions.

Rodimus Prime wrote:Will there be a long storyarc leading up to issue 50? I'm reading through this series by the TPB volumes, and I'm impressed so far. Very good writing. I've only finished volume 2 so far, hopefully Rodimus gets better as a character.
Let's see, you're about to get into a few side stories in Volume 3, then two pretty well contained longer arcs in 4 and 5 that also serve the larger ongoing MTMTE tale. Dark Cybertron is a detour, but a necessary one for the rest of the volumes, also serves big picture. Volumes 6 and 7 continue the overall story. Volume 8 is going to be all over the place, but again, advances the overall plot.Rodimus Prime wrote:Will there be a long storyarc leading up to issue 50? Volume 9 is, again presumably, the last trade that would lead in to issue 50 (assuming it'll be 45-49). It'll be a two parter that follows up on something introduced in the volume you're about to read, that isn't visited again until now. Then, a three parter we know little about right now that should lead in to 50 which we've been told should be some form of big deal.
tl;dr: Yes.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Interesting that it appears it was Grimlock who drew the glyph in the WAP. Check the panel right where Max shows up to capture him. That, along with Max's mention of the Roboids previously being things with a "beast mode", and I think it's a bit more clear what happened to Grimlock.MrBlack wrote:The last couple of pages drop some major mysteries for the future: The mysterious glyph from Luna 1 shows up again, on the WAP and at Demus' facility. We also see some bots wearing the symbol, who are obviously part of a larger conspiracy, and who mention a "Grand Architect." Tyrest, perhaps?
