That's not saying much. Bad rendered in 3D is still bad.

They both look bad and I shall pass by these with negative regret.

I'm liking these more and more. I like how it is a homage to the original g1 toy.

I think I can live with BB face. But I was thinking though:

The designer said he made multiple heads, but Igear chose the one they liked best. Maybe instead of 2 of the same pistols (which is lame) why not 1 pistol and 1 alternate head??? I mean...CJ gets a bazooka and a pistol, and BB just gets 2 small pistols... an extra alternate head sculpt would be a good trade off.

What is that hole in their crotch? It seems like some extra piece should peg in there?

I still mind even if it is toy accurate, it just doesn't look right. Cartoon accuracy would've been the better route for these. O well more money for other stuff.

Another while a minor gripe now you mention the guns is that one side is hollow they could have at least made them a solid piece .

(sigh) still on board with both Bee and CJ, surprisingly. Both of them are the same size as the classics versions in robot mode, so I'm not losing anything. The alt-modes look good.

maybe something pegs into the hole during transformation to keep the vehicle mode more stable?

Not Bumblebee, I don't like very much, because the face is too flat but Not Cliffjumper, I will buy when it's avaiable on BBTS.

They need to make their car modes smaller. They look fat in robot mode, especially Stinger. They look like the comedy relief characters in the Autobots. I can just picture Optimus leading the Autobots into battle, and these two trailing behind and gasping for air, shouting "Hey guys, wait for us!" Actually that sounds like something Michael Bay would put in his movies.
I was really looking forward to iGear doing a Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, but as it stands, I'll pass.

dammit! that really works for me with Cliffjumper, since he's similar colours, and toting a big cannon just like GI Joe's Bazooka. I kinda want him as a bit of an out of shape bot now.

I agree that the prototypes are slightly more appealing than the renders, but frankly it's like preferring to be stabbed with a clean knife as opposed to a rusty one. Stinger looks like he's got a mouthful of donuts.

Admittedly the inclusion of Cliffjumper's bazooka got a positive reaction, but I'll be sticking with the Classics versions for both characters.

I'm going with greed ($55 for up-sized legion figures)and laziness (take G1 designs and add ball joints..)

Rocky's head looks too small.

Stinger's face looks like Orson Welles. Did nobody else see that connection? "Then it pleases me to be the first."

Why can't the designer shrink down his 3-D design, change BBs head and re-submit it to the factory? It's better to lose money now than later.
