Ok so i here a ton of talk of how starscream's "frog" look is terrible. I actually really like it. I see his hunched stature as a representation of his coniving ways (which we unfortunatly dont see much in the movies)And his tribal marks are BA. His face is awesome! the pure evil underbite is sweet :lol:

You aren't, I like it...but I like all the movie designs.
Still his design is really cool to me.
What I don't get is calling his legs "bird legs." His legs are more Saurian...I've never seen a bird with legs like his.

I don't mind it, either, but I prefer his G1 form more. I like both, though.

The movieverse look of Starscream fits it's character. During the time of the first movie, every character received it's fair share of criticism. But hey, like whatever you like and don't get discouraged by other's opinions.

Some people see Frog, I see Gorilla. Wide stance, huge upper body. This isn't a stealth design, it's a look big enough to make your opponents **** themselves look.

I like the Space Dorito.

Though, I will admit I like the classic repaint better, it even has a better modled head (The same one I believe on Thundercracker). I'm hoping they adapt that head onto Skywarp or thundercracker come the third film, especially if the film is in space...they're gonna need bots who fly.

But anyways, I like it. Mean he has a frakken vulcan cannon on his forearm....thats just class.

I like Starscream's new look a lot. He looks more birdlike now. Heck, I like the Bayverse look in general. It makes them look like alien constructs, not boxy humans with vehicle-bits.

Agreed, when I first heard about a live action movie the designs we got are exactly what I was hoping for. I like Starscream too, the design makes him look agile. Like he can move through the air like a monkey in a tree.

I like the movie look a lot too and also like the movie designs a lot in general.

To me, in general, I like the G1 look better for comics and cartoons but the Bayformers look works better for me in the live-action medium. I think I actually like the Bayformer look slightly better in modern toy-form too (as opposed to something like classics/universe/generations, which, don't get me wrong, I also like very much). The G1 look works better for vintage brickish toys though, IMO.

When I first saw the '07 movie my initial response was....well, that was ghastly.

Now, though, Bayverse Screamy has to be one of my favorite designs. I dig the markings too.

So, no, you're way not the only one. ^__^

On an "Energon's been drinking" tangent...

What I REALLLLLY would have liked is a Chris Latta imitator doing his voice. Latta was my favorite "80's voice actor guy"; way better than Peter Cullen or Casey Kasem. He ruled in G1 and in G.I.Joe, IMO! Didja know he even had a small part in everyone's favorite movie "Road House"?

never thought he resembled a frog, a puppy when you put him on his hind feet? yes!, but a frog? I should say no! I liked the way he looked and personally thought he looked like a dorito, but hey we hall have different perspectives lol
