We've seen how MP-09 is technically a quadrupal changer, changing from Hotrod to Rodimus Prime, and then both of their vehicle modes.

With people asking for a masterpiece Galvatron for the MP Rodimus, and a new Megatron mold to fight against the MP Optimus, Wouldn't it be cool if they did both characters in one? :KREMZEEK:

I know this would be impossible to engineer (if not, give it a try! )
I realize the price tag would be with the $300 range, but considering that you're getting 2 characters, it's like paying $150 each.

The only thing that would really suck is if there were collectors that wanted to display BOTH characters they would have to buy 2. That's around $600! #-o

What do you guys think?

But yeah, I would like to have Galvatron and Megs displayed separately, so I rather have 2 molds.

As would I. I don't play with my MPs much, so I'd like Megs and Galvy to stand apart from one another.

I think a Megatron into Galvatron toy could work in a less-G1 cartoon based line, but for MPs, I can't see how they'd be able to do it and keep the characters looking right. Like the concept gavinfuzzy posted it could work pretty nicely in theory with less G1 too accurate modes.

I'd actually like to see this as a gimmick for maybe a set of Voyager class toys. Triple or Quad-changers with 2 robot modes. Megatron/Galvatron, Punch/Counterpunch, maybe something like Orion Pax/Optimus Prime and Hot Rod or Sideways or even armoured and un-armoured Ultra Magnus or some Pretenders characters.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

The problem with triple, quad, or even sixchangers is that the more modes you have, the more each one suffers for the others. The most successfully done example of a quadchanger with two botmodes is the Anakin/Vader Cruiser/Star Destroyer and it's painfully simple. There are minimal differences between botmodes and the altmodes are just a triangular brick or a triangular brick with wedges out of the sides. I still think that the reason Hasbro hasn't made a Classics Blitzwing is they can't make it work without an entirely removable turret and the jet mode still suffering. I don't know, the minor miracle that is the nonpartsforming MP Laserbeak makes me hopeful that they'll try it again someday.

And Megatron and Galvarton should be separate figures because it would be better for everyone.

While it's a nice idea I think I'd prefer separate figures, although display Megatron and Galvatron on the same shelf doesn't seem right to me.

Not going to happen, but imagine if they'd had Cyberverse in G1...we might have gotten a Unicron playset with one of those figure-swapping chambers, so you could put Megatron in Uni's mouth and Galvatron would pop out. :)

Animated Blizwing was rather well done. Yeah, the plane had tank treads, but that was cartoon accurate.

MP Elta or Arcee without looking too blocky..........in car mode that is. Or better yet, MP Blitzwing?

You all have very good arguments against the idea, and I totally agree with all of you.

I just thought it would be cool to see that kind of technology.

Maybe in 90+ years? Lol.
