I know they were released through the collector's club, but what were they in terms of storyline continuity? Can someone giv eme an overall synopsis of where this fits into the Transformers mythos?
I know there was some sort of multiversal aspect to them, as it showed the old marvel Universe when Optimus' head was removed. Can anyone explain what/when the other scenes were from?
it says the stories were continued in teh collector's club... were they text-based, or more comics that are exclusive to the Club magazine?
Any other general info? I like dit, but I was lost

The stories were originally comics as they are in the trade, I believe, sent out in issue format to members of the club.
Spoilers wrote:If I remember rightly, one of the scenes was from the Beast Wars episodes titled "The Agenda". I can't remember what the other panels even looked like without checking. As for where it fits, it is predominantly a Cybertron story, but obviously it crosses into other universes at various points (Nemesis Prime and Ramjet from the Universe line, Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus from RiD, etc.) and ultimately ends up in the Classics line.

It has been released as a Trade which i picked up from my local comic store and to be honest it kind of tapers off into something not really that brilliant.
Normally ive been a fan of the convention stuff but its very much written like a fanfic...all in all i'm glad i picked it up as i was left hanging with the storyline, but it might not be everyones cup of tea.

That first part of the story is about Vector Prime's travels through the multiverse. He's witnessed events from the Marvel comics, the TV series, Beast Wars, etc.\
These stories were originally printed, 6 pages every 2 months for the last 2 years in the collectors club magazine. They collected all 12 segments into one trade paperback called Balancing Act.
The first act happened before the Cybertron TV series, then the second picks up durng the series, and it continues on to parallel the series (events like Primus transforming happen at the same time in the comics and TV show) and it ends one episode before the Cybertron TV series ends. Yes, Vector Prime is in two places at once for a while (he's on Cybertron and on Earth!) that's one of his temporal powers, until Ramjet hurts him so much one of his bodies fades away, leaving only the one on Earth.
The last page has Skyfall and Landquake, who were thought dead in the final battle, instead being transported to a parallel Earth and ending up in the line of fire of Classics Megatron, which is where the next series of Club Magazine stories picks up. You can either join the club or wait 2 years for the next trade paperback to read the next story.
