Anybody else going to Botcon this week. I'm flying out Friday...

You know the 5 botcon figures Spark Breakdown Streetstar Clench and SkyByte? Where exactly do you get them? at the door? Do you have to pay an additional cost? Do you have to reserve the box set? And is the same for Slice as well?

Im pretty confused about all the figures and i just want to get a little more information.

I hit up toys r us and walmart on coldwater looking for anything from the generations line...no luck. in fact it looked very barren and thin. hopefully that means they are on the way!

Botcon was a blast. Picked up some of the convention exclusives, sadly they were out of the Sharkticon package at opening, but I got the other two packages of bagged exclusives. I also picked up Animated Blackout. They had Motormaster parked outside along with Ironhide and Cliffjumper. That Motormaster was one terrific redo of a semi and rivaled the Optimus truck from a couple years back. Saw Stan Bush and Peter Cullen and a few other voice actors whose names escape me. All in all in was a really good time.

I preordered and got a shipment notice for Leader SS from TRU website along with the two WFC figures Optimus and BB.

I also received my G1 Devastator gift set I ordered out of Singapore. This is one excellent KO!! Looks and feels exactly like the G1 and without knowing, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I ordered all the Crazy Devy parts to modify it into an articulated figure.

I forgot to mention the bagged figures names that I picked up: Double Punch with Scorch and Ravage, and Rapido and Cindersaur. I tracked the TRU stuff and it's in town already so hopefully I'll have Leader SS in my hands tonight! :APPLAUSE:

I also forgot to tell you I got the WFC game for PS3 and it truly is awesome, if you like shooter games. I've been playing online a bit since I got it last Tuesday, and I'm doing the Decepticon Campaign right now...graphics are amazing. I love Soundwave's alt mode but yet still kept him true to character. In fact, I really like this new line, I think the toys will be keepers. What about you guys..?

Went to TRU to see if they had any of the new stuff. They had only EFC OP and BB from the Generations line, all the wave deluxe HFTD, both HFTD leaders and all PCC.

I already ordered leader SS from the website though.

I think the Generations line in full of win!

Merrillville,IN TRU has them on the shelf.

Well 4 Thrust and 3 Drift now lol

I know Prime was there as well cause some little kid had it in his hand and got the last one as I walked up to the aisle grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matteson, IL TRU also had Generations figures in and I got Thrust there originally as I, but appears to have been 3 hanger dedicated to Generations stuff and all they had left were Thrusts.

IF u find figures at TRU and only bought 1 while they buy one get on 50% is on, the will refund u if u buy another while the sale lasts. I did it today when I found Drift at the other TRU

Found one lone Cybertronian Mode Ratchet at TRU today, which surprised me. I actually went looking for the HFTD and Generations pieces of which they had none. I did receive my Leader SS along with BB and OP from the Generations line today.

I saw TRU had Seaspray up for preorder too. I preordered the BBTS Seacons set.

picked up voyager seaspray and PCC bomshock. the PCC arent my thing but he just looked so badass. it has sum good playability, im actually suprised.

tru was cleaned out of all gen deluxes. the HFD were blah...

has sum leader SS and BB primes but i passed.

might go bach for PCC huffer and hsmolder, that buy one get one half off is a deal.

had lots of bludgeon whirl 2 packs on clearance, might have to get one for that upgrade set being produced

TRu finally got Animated Arcee and Ratchets in! They had four of each yesterday and I bought two Arcees and left two. I got Huffer/Caliburst and Smoulder/Chopster PCC's. They only had the aerialbot set on the shelf, and I passed. I'm not real keen on these but a few of the sets are really sweet. The buy one, get one 1/2 off sale is still on.

scratch that last post, found a decent deal. MOSC shipped for 20 bucks!

However, now im wondering whether or not to shell out for ghost starscream and takara rodimus.

As for the PCC, I picked up the last Bombshock (the last one i needed) from TRU on July 3rd.

So as it stands ( dont know whether to be ashamed or proud :lol:

) Ive picked up every release from the 3 new lines thus far!

p.s. anybody see the new lines anywhere besides TRU?

I really like the Leader SS, almost tempted to order the MP version off BBTS. Went to TRU yesterday hoping to snag a Combaticon PCC, but they had nothing but the deluxes. They still have Animated Ratchets if anyone is looking.

I preordered the Bruticus add ons today too. After seeing the figure at the show, they are most definitely worth it.

i have bombshock and the combaticons...he looks cool on the shelf but he is a little fiddly. feet dont hold him up very well and the floppy arms are a little disappointing . but if there is at least one PCC to get, as of now its him :grin:

i got a thrust today, but not from TRU, i got him for only 5 bucks over retail shipped from a seller on ebay. i just dont have the time to be running to TRU twice a week (and beat the local scalpers). i will hold out for drift if i can...or until i find a deal on ebay.

screw the movie SS as a masterpiece! bring on RODIMUS!! :APPLAUSE:

Visited some family in northern Indiana today, stopped at the Lafayette TRU and found Seaspray stashed behind some other figures along with a Yoda SW Crossover.

They also had HFTD Legends, but I passed. I thought Ravage was in this wave, but they didn't have any of him.

. Can't say I'm very impressed with the PCC thing, I probably won't be investing much money there.

im having a hard time believing they havnt got any thrusts or drifts in...im convinced we have a filthy scalper in our midst :-x

thrust is awesome BTW! not loose at all, really nice QC. i love the red pearl plastic they used.

yeeeaaaaa......the PCC do kinda suck. bombshock looks really menacing by himself but the drones kill it in "combined" mode. ill take the energon combiners over this anyday

BTW! i got WFC for my PC! super fun game, played for almost 6 hours straight last night! if anyone else has it, lemme kno. we can get a game going :grin:

Went to a few stores today:

TRU has a ton of Cyb. Ratchets and Arcees if anyone's still looking.

K-Mart has the 2pack PCCS.

Kohl's has the HFTD scouts at $10.99 each, but they have a buy one get one half off going on.

WM on US 41 has very very little in terms of TF's. It should be anytime for new stuff to be showing up at this particular store.

Got the Valkyrie from BBTS yesterday and I have to say for the money I am severely disappointed. If you were thinking about this one, unless you are a die hard G1 Arcee fan, don't waste the money. If you caught peaugh's review that pretty much sums her up. I'm still debating about returning her to BBTS and exchange for something else. The minute I took her out of the box both front fenders popped off (and aren't meant to, poopy glue job) and I thought for $70 bucks that wasn't too cool, I know I can glue them back on but for that kind of money I shouldn't have to.

Wednesday I got MP Ghost SS and the PE-01R and 01F. SS is really nice, and I'm not usually a fan of clear plastic toys. The two "cassettes" are really great and look badass transformed into the shoulder cannons of my Nemesis Prime Shadow Commander. I had seen them at the show and knew what to expect, and they do not disappoint. The pile driver arms really make them exceptional. Great pose-ability as well.
