Notice the decent amount of articulation even during those times when articulation is not even dreamed of. Bendable knees and toes. Thighs can twist. Head can move up and down. Arms can rotate. Only the elbows are fixed. Otherwise, it will be almost complete. Notice also that the spike thing on the head is missing. He should have some sort of a single horn up the middle. (Picture 3)
Nice stash of weapons. These are original, comes with the box. (Picture 4)
I even made a very tiny Decepticon symbol on the chest. Not knowing back then that he is actually a Decepticon! (Picture 5)
These guys are so cute. I just got to post them. (Picture 6)
HEhe

Do they have this "stinger" thing like the toy?
Foallen wrote:I'm pretty fond of the deluxe insecticons. I had Ransack and Venom when I was a kid. Although I thought Ransack was cooler at first, in the long run I ended up liking Venom best. The one issue with the toys is that they're even more brickish in ways than other G1 figures. Ransack and Chopshop can't move their arms forward to point their guns at you. Venom can, but it's limited due to the fact his wings can block how far you can move hiss arms unless you put his wings in a weird position. Barrage is the only one I'm missing, so I can't comment on him.
Still, I thought they were cool because they actually looked like insects to me. The original insecticons because of the wheels, colours and stuff didn't look too much like insects to me at the time, although I can see it now.
