Iron Captain America .. yes i know it goes with the Death of Cap story arc from the comics, but yuck not nice.

There however some of the other armors I do find interesting.

The Red and Gold Iron Monger
The Red and Gold repaint of the War Machine Walmart Exclusive mold. Hope that's not an exclusive too.

The Black and Silver with solar panels? on his back armor.

And The Crimson Dynamo wanna be Armor. (Red and dark gray)

Well if I pick up any of those I'll review them here.

Thanks for the heads up Blurrz.

I think it's from one of the "What if...." comics. What don't you like about it? Just the colors?

The shelves at my Walmart are so clogged with the leftovers it's not likely I'll be seeing any of them anytime soon. I've never seen so many prototype tony starks and mark 2 ever. lol

Really? Practially everything my local area was wiped out about the time the movie released! I barely got the Target and Wal-Mart exclusives! Later a single batch of wave 1 made in, the gone again. Just over the last two weeks or so have they actually managed to make it to the shelves and stay there. At one Target by me it was wiped again the other day except for 4 (5?) lonely/crappy titanium mans hanging there.....

Basically the colors, yes they just don't fit well with Iron man. Perhaps if the blue was a little darker, more metallic and shiny, closer to what the red is. As it is its too pastel for my taste.
The shield looks pretty cool though, again if the blue in the center where a little darker, more metallic.

Closer to what the blue in the Torpedo Armor is.

Personally with all these nostalgic old Iron Man costumes appearing, i wouldn't mind seeing some ice Armor on Iron Man..

Hasbro's still churning out loads of senseless repaints...
And all the War Machines here have bad QC... horrendous paintjobs...

We can complain about Iron-Man QC, but this is a whole company thing. It's not just Iron-Man, it's TFs, it's.. Hanna Montana, it's everything made by Hasbro.

I hate it but I complain about the GC of both Transformers and IM every time I walk into my room. I've still got a nice pile of repairs to do on both IM and TF's. I hate it. But I must be an idiot because every time I see a new guy I know it'll be junk but I still give Hasbro the benefit of the doubt. It's cost me a bunch of money and I wish I could curb it.

Haha, it's the bane of all collectors, isn't it?

edit- I looked at Captain America Iron Man photos at SDCC.. And ****, even that had QC problems.. red paint leaking all over the place. Damn... if the display model is bad, I wonder what the stock will end up like.

Well, I walked into Target, and lo and behold, I find Target has a Exclusive edition of the 2 disc DVD of Iron Man.

The DVD's come packaged in a plastic case shaped in the form of Iron Man's Helmet.

It Opens just above the chin, and reveals the 2 discs inside.

Its kind of cool, and the case actually stands on its own.

Did not know about the exclusive so it was a nice surprise.

I'm wondering if the Iron Man Movie toy series is going to start churning out old Iron Man Villians. I'm frankly sure if they don't then the series is going to die out in maybe the 4th or 5th wave. I really hope they aren't waiting for villians from the 2nd movie.

Honestly I don't mind having all Iron-Man, but having 10 repaint of the same figure with different accessories isn't a collection I want to keep maintaining.

Well, I'm pretty sure they'll wait for Iron Man 2 to even think about producing a Mandarin Figure for the Movie line.

But who can they tap into:

RadioActive Man
Arsenal
Ultimo(but I'm pretty sure, they'll want to pair him up with Mandarin somehow)
Ultron
M.O.D.O.K (With lights and sounds and extra gimmicks)
Fing Fang Foom

He really doesn't have that many villains of his own. Mostly he borrows them from other heroes.

Seeing as how they are merging the Movies into one universe, they should probably attempt to do the same with the toy lines.

So instead of having separate toy lines we get a continuous toy line in the same vane. This allows them to use villains form other heroes, and bring them into the toy line.

So even if some villains aren't featured in a movie they might get a figure. I'd like to see them bring out a Baron Zemo, or Taskmaster from Captain America, even if they don't get used in the movies.
