Issues with Movie Ironhide

Postby ZenPrime » Thu May 31, 2007 12:26 pm

I've just received the movie Ironhide I ordered. While transforming him into robot mode I couldn't get his top hip joint to fold flat on to the bottom hip joint. I also have issues with locking down the shoulders/hoods parts in robot mode. Does anyone have the same problems and know how to remedy them? Thanx in advance.

They are difficult to figure out but I got the shoulders to lock down after tinkering with it a while

Waist is meant to stay at an angle. Shoulders are not meant to be locked down flat, they're supposed to be at an angle, like in the movie.

Does that mean the gallery pictures posted on this has his shoulders in the wrong position? They look like they're lock down flat across and not at an angle... :-?

It seems to me like they are supposed to be flat on the toy. They lock down perfectly that way.

its hard to explain...took a bit of studying the joints on the shoulder/truck front...and then a lil cautious pressure to work them down and over.

It seems to me that he's missing a couple of steps in the transformation, well at least one step that I can see. The front wheels are suppose to lock into the nubs on the lower part of the head, he seems to have missed that step.

I was able to lock down the shoulder/chest pieces as well after playing around with it a bit more today and prefer the look of having it locked down to the angled up look.
