the first Convention of it's kind, Power-Con/Thundercon, which is a He-Man/She-Ra and Thundercats Convention, and I got to meet Alan Oppenheimer, the original voice of Skeletor, I'm so glad I got to meet him since he is in his 80's now, who knows how many more public appearences he will be making, and I got to meet Melandy Britt, the original voice of She-Ra, I got some items signed by them, but they were not allowing the fans to take pictures with them during the autograph session, the only pics I took of them were during the Panel:

I seen Pixel Dan's video of the Allen Oppenhiemer and Melendy Britt panal I love he broke out into Skeltors voice

and overall i'm just glad Alan Oppenheimer attended, because of his age now, who knows how much longer he will live, I hope he lives forever or just a very very long-time

he is 81 years old now, so i'm very fortuneate i got to meet him and get those items signed

also, Alan Oppenheimer did the voices of some of the Autobots in the original 80's Transformers cartoon, he did Seaspray, Warpath, Beachcomber, and the voice he did for Seaspray was the same voice he used for Mer-Man(he voiced Mer-Man too, and Man-At-Arms too) in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

I seen a video posted by Pixel Dan where he did Skeletor's voice and unlike Frank Welker Alan still sounds like Skeletor

I think Megatron's voice is a little harder to maintain than Skeletor's, honestly. Skeletor's is high-pitched, but doesn't have that extra "crackle" of Megatron. I still think Welker does a decent Megatron and after the first episode or two of TF:Prime it does sound a bit more like the classic voice we're used to.

I recently have picked up all the he-Man and She-Ra cartoons so I'm starting to get a better appreciation of Oppenheimer, who is a very underrated voiceover artist.

Btw giantrobotlover8806, on boards like this and many others, sometimes "less is more" Too many posts, especially ones where you guilt-trip others about not previously replying aren't going to win you many friends (or replies, either)
