~i write in run-on sentences~

well yesterday i was talking to my g/f and we were talking and i told her i cant til her and i get married (which we have been saying for about 4-5 months now) when she says she needs to tell em something thats been on her mind....... she tells me and i quote: "i could never see myself marrying you".... well i was crushed.... and she told me we can still date.. so i tell her that what's the point in dating... it's a waste of both of our time if she doesnt want to eventually be with me....

idk so then i guess she broke up with me which sucks cause i was planing on saving my money up to move to PA and get a appartment so we could move in together.... and now i have nothing so i'm gonna take the money and save it to get a tiburon...

it suck cause i was really in love with her

but i was talking to my little sis and she put it as the best way ever:
"dateing is like NASCAR, you work your way to 2nd and almost get to 1st but sometimes you blow a tire, i blew a tire, then you get kicked down in the field but you have to work hard to win the race"
she said it better but i cant remember her quote exactly...

No, being a bitch would be stringing him along and not telling him.

At least you know the truth now, sure, it hurts, but it would have hurt more later down the track if she hadn't been honest.

I'd say try to remain friends with her ... but i've seen how that worked out for me and it's not something i'd recommend.

Trying to remain friends can be very difficult. I have tried many times, but it has never worked out for me. After a statement like that has been made the trust between you takes a very hard hit. My last relationship ended kind of the same way and it's the reason I don't date anymore. It's been almost three years now, and I can honestly say that it has been a lot less stressful.

Remaining friends is a no-no.

1.) She obviously didn't didn't care enough about you to keep from hurting you like she did. (What would keep her from kicking you to the curb as a friend? I mean if she dumped you like this, she'd deep six you as a friend.)

2.) She'll get used to using you and when she needs something, she'll call you for it. (I've been down this road, you will get screwed. Not laid like you want, but definitely screwed.)

3.) You'll always be jealous as she gets further and further away from you emotionally, and starts dating other men. (Would you like to be invited to her wedding, after she told you she couldn't marry you?)

This was a good thing, at least you didn't blow the money on something stupid (entering into a life with her) and now you can do something special for yourself.

And one tidbit of advice (and it's true) you will find someone else. You found her, you'll hit paydirt again. Don't worry, and just focus on getting you back in shape. Once that's done, then you can go find the woman you really deserve.

Aside from Donkey punch... classic by the way... I'm jumping on the bandwagon and saying being friends will be awful. Told my gf from day one if we break up I'm gone, no matter what. I'm not waiting around for the day she says she found someone she loved or anything like that. Nope.. Don't wanna be with me... I don't wanna know you afterwards. Harsh, but truthful.

I saw one of my ex's that tore my heart out at Walmart one day, and I looked at her *husband!* and thought "better you then me bubba".

Keep your chin up though, I found me a woman that tolerates all my collecting and we have been together for 15 years (married 14 1/2 of them).

Just don't lose hope.. There is someone out there for you.

i agree with this. let it go and don't see her for a while, let time settle your feelings. it always sucks when women tell you that you'll be "friends", but it can never come to the point that you really are friends, unless you're in a special kind of relationship or both of you really understand each other.
