Jazz and Thundercracker Costumes From OJ Simpson Commercial Uncovered by Comic Shop

There's another headline I never though I would write. @Jalaguyon Twitter posted some really cool photos. A comic shop in Pennsylvania has found some vintage G1 Transformers costumes from the 80s in a closed warehouse. These are rather involved costumes of Jazz and Thundercracker worn in commercials for theme parks like Great America and for other promotional purposes in the 80s. The same footage from the Great America commercial was also found in OJ Simpson's Pioneer Chicken commercial. You can see both below along with the images of the uncovered costumes.

Somebody in the @tfwiki Discord has posted photos of the original TF costumes used in several G1 commercials and things!
Apparently acquired from Sunbow Prod.'s inventory, and now found in a closed warehouse by Tales of Adventure, a comic shop in Coopersburg, PA.

I remember they used these for "meet the Transformers" prize winners at parties. They certainly looked like they attended more than a few.

I KNEW IT!

I've seen that Jazz costume in person, even though I've been told before it didn't exist. They had someone in that same Jazz costume at my local theater for the 86 movie back when I was a kid. I remember somebody had said they had seen Thundercracker too, but he wasn't there when I went. If it isn't the same costume, then there is more than one set of these. Awesome find.

I remember a Wheel of Fortune commercial with a seeker standing next to Vanna White, but not if it was Thundercracker or Skywarp. I guess it was Thundercracker, unless there are indeed more than just these two.

I dunno, man. Those suits are plenty dirty.

However, I was thinking that since they were found in PA, and I live in MD it's definitely possible they were the ones that were "local" to me. They had things at the ToysR'Us right up the street with them, they had the Captain Chesapeake Party contest where they would show up, the Baltimore Zoo. They got around, and that was just here.

anyways apparently the costumes have some mold sharing with the arms legs and feet :-?

Those suit were also as part of the Transformers Universal Studios Tour back in 1985 and the Prizes in Disguise contest back in 1986.
