No he is not. Blocky look isn't my favourite. I don't like his character in the movie at all.

He's the worst of the autobots IMO. Even ratchet beats him! Still ... Jazz is better than most of the movie decepticons.

That's pretty sad.

Anyway, I'm glad that somebody out there is enjoying him!

Jazz character is cool, toy is not.

He is excellent as a character, new and old, and as a toy. The original colour scheme is too bland, but the G1 redeco is jolly good.

In the movie, his few lines do genuinely display the compassion autobots have for life; and I like the way he stands up to Megatron. Kinda like Rumble standing up the Omega Supreme- brave, but stupid.

Do you guys think he's returning in the 2nd movie? Just because he was a pretty big character in g1? I mean even though he's 2 jazzs now.....

Nah, I think that may be the last we will see of Jazz in the movie universe. Which is fine. He got a decent toy, played a good part and died a good death. Now it's time to move on the characters like Prowl, Bluestreak and Cliffjumper.

Actually Jazz does come back. Darius Mcrary (the guy who played him) and Michael Bay have both hinted ( Ok D. M. more straight out said) he is coming back in the second film.

It's probably just wishful thinking on his part. He hasn't worked since family matters and is desparate for work. But I'm all for more Jazz.

Apparently Michael Bay didn't like Jazz because he was forced to use the Pontiac solstice, making him too small. But I loved it - come on, give small guys a chance at being First Lieutenant? And a very badass little second-in-command too.

I've made my mind up to get the G1 redeco toy now, but only if Jazz is certain not to come back. If he comes back and he gets a new, better figure... blargh

Megatron will definetly come back. I can think of like 40000+ explanations that might fit into the next movie. How Jazz will come back is a bit more difficult.

G1 Jazz was a great character and a cool toy, movie Jazz is a lame try hard character(break dancing & street slang, cool... not) and the toy is rubbish(who thought of making a sports car dull primer grey?!).

Yeah, and I don't understand why people say Jazz acted too black. Of all the lines he had that i remember, he only had 2 that were stereotypically 'black' -

'what's cracking, little bitches?' (this one)

'this looks like a good place to kick it.' (not sure bout this one)

'what about bumblebee? We can't just leave him here to die, and become some human experiment!'

'We roll!'

'Trouble Decepticon rumble! (?)'

The rest were pretty vanilla lines for a movie hero. And the way he ordered everyone else to retreat made it pretty clear that the Autobots (and humans) deferred to his orders when Prime wasn't around (Prime came too late just to see his second-in-command dashed to pieces )

according to the info on his deluxe repaint card, ratchet rebuilds him. i don't know how that holds up in the movie-verse, but its still makes for a better-looking figure.

I picked up the redeco G1 jazz from target the other day, he is a very nice toy. The color scheme sure changed my attitude about him. He looks better in bot and alt mode. I would definatly recommend this figure.

So he's out now? Should I go make a round to try and find him? Or is he as difficult to find as 08 Bumblebee? (took me so long to find Bumbles, and if G1 Jazz is gonna be the same, I'm gonna wait).

i think that since it is a target exclusive, it narrows down the places you have to look. but according to a target employee i spoke to today, all deluxes are on backorder

Movie Jazz has a charecter? All you see of Jazz is him saying 'bitches' then him getting ripped limb from limb. Not exactly what I'd call a charecter.

I havnt got the toy yet, but he looks nothing special.

There has not been many sightings of the G1 target exclusive, so I would guess that I just got lucky. There are less then a page of them on ebay as well. Probably be a few weeks before more are around.

I heard some rumor that they were only make XX amount of them for each target, but i have not been able to clarify that. He is cool though.

Nice, but I'm in australia, since the Target over here is similar only in name I hope we'll get him. After all, we did get the Target scouts and Robo-vision prime. I hope it'll be the same for G1 Jazz.
