Does he? In the synopsis given by one of hte other users (Trunks, something?) there was no mention of his spark being absorbed. It seems like one of those things that got left behind in development (with the original script). That said, he didn't say he DIDNT remove his spark so I dont know.

Frenzy loses his head but doesn't quite die (he was wriggling around when Spike kicks it). Kicking it miles off would stop his body and head locating each other and reconnecting (unless someone knows better?).

Also, we know from the trailer that Jazz gets trashed quite badly even before he's torn in half. I guess it was just the final blow in a severe beating. I guess his spark MUST get absorbed, its the only difference between him and Bumblebee.

maybe jazz's spark does get absorbed, we just dont see it, which kinda sucks, but that might take away from the whole battle as that would slow it all down.

Yes, and no. Picture all the Autobots battling the Decepticons, only to have everything freeze as Megatron triumphantly tears Jazz in half. The autobots watch helplessly, and the Decepticons watch in awe (maybe theyre not used to seeing Megatron do it), and suddenly the Autobots resolve is strengthened, and the battle continues fiercer than ever.

Jazz is actually a terrible character so he's really no loss. There is no spark consumption (at least nothing we see), he's simply torn in half and while it was hard to see I thought he was torn vertically. BB however only has his legs ripped off.

To me, he is not Jazz unless he has his personality, like the original.

Jazz is so underrated. Too bad he had to be the cannon fodder for this film.

I remember the old title for this thread, and you can't help but change it, but why just blank out that crucial part about the title? Now it makes it look like Jazz has something that kids shouldn't see....
