Personally I loved Kup as a kid and I hope Jetfire manages to be cool and endearing in the same way. Maybe they will mess it up, but I really enjoyed the first movie and I dont believe they will make the mistake of going the way the Matrix trilogy did. I dont think they will ignore what made the first one good and just focus on action. But I have been wrong before so we will see. I just relized the confusion that might be causes saying Matrix. LOL
