Today we take a look at the song "Positarians of Servos". "Positarians of Servos" by Stratos is track #15 on Kaiju Kaos: The Soundtrack, Volume 2. This song is the theme for the heroic transforming robots, the Positarians, who eventually make their way to Earth and join in the conflict against the growing kaiju threat. This video features comic book artwork taken from the three issues of the Slagacon convention comic - used with permission.
When I started writing Kaiju Kaos: The Miniatures Game in 2010, I decided to pull ideas from everything I loved as a geek/nerd/child of the 80s. In addition to giant monsters, werewolves, genetic mutations gone wrong, and animated scarecrows, I wanted giant transforming robots in the mix. Knowing I'd never be able to actually afford a license with Hasbro, I looked to the fan community and 3rd Party manufacturers.
The first I went to was Slagacon... a Midwest Transformers Fan Convention that had a cast of awesome original characters that appeared in their own comic books/convention guides. Slagacon may be gone but the characters live on! Hydrophone, our first Stretch Goal, is one of those characters. The others are featured in the video above.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Am I right in guessing that this is a game or is it music? or is it both.
If it's a game, Is it similar to the Skylanders video game. Where each character toy you buy has a interactive chip inside. that gets used to unlock the character in the game?
Or are the mini figures just stand alone toys that have no chips inside. That don't interact with the game.
Can this game be played only on the computer? Or can it also be played on multiple game consoles from Nintendo, Sony, X Cube
Am I reading correctly that buyers will not get a CD or game disk. Instead they might get a email with a download. Where buyers need to download the game in order to play it on their computer.
Since this is a download. Wondering if this can get downloaded on to buyers Smart phones or tablets?

The add-ons and stretch goals include some BMOG related stuff and Slagacon Transformers comic characters, basically like Decoys of fan-made Transformers characters.

The game is not as high tech as Skylanders. It's basically a tabletop board game played with dice, pencils and little figures. No computer or gaming system needed.
The author already added support for BMOG toys in the game as pieces. In one of the updates on the KS page the author also mentioned he's gotten permission to make game rules for Perfect Effect and Iron Factory toys, which allow you to use those toys as pieces in the game.
Yes, you can also get the music in MP3 format if you don't want a CD.

It is a music CD and tabletop combat game play with third party Transformers from BMOG, Iron Factory and Perfect Effect as the pieces. The author got permission from those companies to use their toys as the game pieces, so it's official and sanctioned by those companies, which is why I posted it here. No different from talking about a Transformers game in the Transformers forums.
Any opinions about where this thread belongs should be addressed to the mods in private messages and reports, not posted here. Thanks.

Please remain on topic.
