Honestly if your creative enough you can use just about anything to create a transformer. I've seen some out of different transformers to create a custom one, cardboard, costumes, legos, and what i'm using is knex so pick something and go with it.

This is the face of my new transformer, its coming along but still needs work.

I Finished my New Custom Transformer. The first Pic is the transformer in vehicle mode same as the first picture i posted earlier. Second and third picture is comparing it to my Optimus transformer for a size comparison. Last picture is another full shot. There is only one thing left to do for this transformer, I need a name. If any one would like to suggest a name for him that would be most appreciated.
