And yet they never teamed up.
Until the game.
KARR wasn't evil. He was just naive, programmed for self preservation. People just mistake him for evil because he was found by thugs that corrupted him for evil. And in the second one, he wasn't evil per se, he just wanted revenge.

Wikipedia: We Pwn wrote:In "Trust Doesn't Rust", the voice of KARR was provided by voice actor Peter Cullen, better known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the The Transformers cartoon series.
In "K.I.T.T. vs K.A.R.R.", KARR was voiced by Paul Frees, best known as the voice of Ludwig Von Drake in the popular anthology series, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color.
Frees was uncredited on-screen for his role, leading Peter Cullen to sometimes be wrongly credited as providing KARR's voice in "K.I.T.T. vs K.A.R.R."

Problem is, there's no Trans Am left in existence. Nor will there be (as far as we know)...so a Concept Camaro is as close as you're gonna get.
Unless GM would come up with another hot concept vehicle for this, like they did for TransFormers.

the black one with the golden bird would be sweet in a remake of Smokey & the Bandit!
Jaw Crusher wrote:They found a semi-clever way of dancing around the cliche element of it with the self-preservation angle and the corruption thing, I grant you, but what remains is that he's in opposition of the good guys, and he looks just like one of them. Typically, that's what the evil-twin stereotype is, regardless of the setup.

I believe that was called Stargate SG1.

As long as K.I.T.T. can actually, you know, talk.
