Eeeeeh......only 32 friends? I know how we can help! Everyone here who has a myspace page should add him! I'll bet Ryan already has, and I've got a friend request in with him too.

It's quite interesting to find a KUP entry on myspace. Fun stuff for the TFers who take part there.

Yer kidding right? Kup's one of my favorite transformers. If not my absolute favorite, then definitely one of my top 5.

As for Wheelie..... I kinda like him, it's just the way he spoke in the movie...... He would have fit as a mini-con partner for Grimlock, but that computerized sound was just just wrong.

If I could help Kup, I'd get him better arms, and find the back of his head.

(I love G1, but that toy sucked)

I've got an old, beat up G1 Kup up with the rest of my Transformers... It seems only, I don't know... "fitting"? Everyone else is (mostly) nice and shiny, but he's battered, worn, and missing his rifle...

I sure hope Kup's got his rifle with him, surrounded by all those crystals... Outback too...

I'm missing Kup's rifle too. Is there any way to replace it? Like some repro? I'd use Prowl or Checkpoint to replace it, but Kup isn't able to hold them. The peg for that mold's gun mode to big for Kup's hand. Funny how I can use those two with my Blurr, but not with Kup.

I guess he has lost his rifle since he's useing "the arm" as his weapon but hey, at least you have an IDW comic accurate Kup now!

So what do we do? Click our heels together and think happy thoughts and hope everything turns out alright for the the O.G. ?

Maybe if we pray hard enough Mr. T and Chuck Norris will show up in the A-Team van and save the ole scutter.

Maybe you have a Targetmaster Blurr but only a non-Targetmaster Kup? That would explain the difference in size between the peg holes.

If there's a question about if this is "official" (which was implied by Ryan's first post), there's a link to this myspace page front page at IDW Publishing's official site. Their blurb about it is the second down under "more news".

So there's a physical difference between Targetmaster and non-Targetmaster versions of these figures? Odd that Blurr didn't have the Haywire figure with it when I bought it. (Odd but not surprising since I bought it second-hand.)

Yes, most (if not, all) of the Targetmaster versions have bigger holes in their hands (and on alt.modes) because the pegs on the Targetmaster Nebulans/weapons are bigger than the pegs on the normal, pre-Targetmaster weapons.

For example, Targetmaster Hot Rod has a bigger hole on his engine than pre-Targetmaster Hot Rod. And bigger holes in the hands, obviously.

Did your Blurr come with a regular pre-Targetmaster gun, or was he sans weapons? Also, if you've got another Targetmaster Nebulan lying around, try putting it in Blurr's hands. If it fits, that means he's a Targetmaster version.

Sans weapons, to answer the question you've asked directly. Kup's the only G1 figure I still have from when I was a kid, and that weapon's long gone. Besides that, I've moved since then. G1 Blurr I found at an antique mall close to the gym I work out at in AJ. Didn't have the weapon, but had that shield thing you detach from the front end of Blurr's vehicle mode to transform him.

As for whether or not I have any targetmasters, this is my opinion on each figure based on what I've been reading here.

Blurr is the targetmaster, the Haywire figure just wasn't included when it turned up at the antique mall. I'm basing this on the figure's ability to hold mini-con figures like the Prowl/checkpoint mold in it's weapon mode.

Kup, however, isn't a targetmaster. His hands can't hold mini-con weapons and there isn't a place for a targetmaster to be mounted.

Sounds like you have that all sorted, then!

Best thing to do wpuld be to try and find non-Targetmaster Kup's rifle on Ebay.
