I'm Australian, and I found her accent annoying. There's just something about an Australian accent among American ones that is just...
wrong. The same applies if it's an American among Australians though. It's very strange.
I thought she sounded like a normal Australian, myself. But I do agree that she sounded just as out of place as an American does on our screens. (I think the only person I can think of that doesn't sound out of place with an Australian accent in an American show off the top of my head is Jesse Spencer in House?)
But I have to agree with Hot Rod.I'm sure she could have done an American accent. And I'm just as sure that it would have been stupidly bad.
Scenes I didn't like:
The excessively long Frenzy scenes.
Anything with Maggie. Completely unnecessary.
Bumblebee peeing on the S7 dude. Completely out of character.
The unnecessary fanservice when Mikaela was looking at Bumblebee's engine. All those ridiculously lingering camera angles on a painfully posed Meghan Fox? Could have done without that completely. Okay, yes, we get it. Oh my god! She's a
girl! In a movie about giant transforming robots! WE GET IT.
Ironhide's slo-mo jump over the screaming girl. Yawn. Not to mention the fact he couldn't seem to walk, he just tumbled everywhere. Um. Okay.
And Jazz's death. Jesus, what the hell.
