Feel free to post scenes you think sucked big-time. I only had one:

Ok, the whole movie Bumblebee was a kid and a hotshot. Then at the end he goes "permission to speak" ? What the slag is up with that.

Almost every early scene with Maggie (the Australian blonde computer wiz). Seriously, her character had no point other than looking kinda hot and chewing up valuable screen time that would've been better spent on showing the Megatron - Starscream dynamic.

Then there's the army guy's, "I just can't wait to hold my baby girl for the first time." It was like Michael Bay's way of telling us to care about his character with the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

And Optimus Prime muttering things like, "What is with you?" to the other Autobots, and then later shouting, "NOW!" at the Sector Seven guys. Just a bit too undignified for the character in my opinion.

Well Permission To Speak is what you say to your leader... it is like walking up to the General of an Army you don't just blab on straight away. So what the Slag is up with you complaint! :P I am just mucking around thats all.

Ok my least favorite scene...

When Miles was hanging down the tree around the start of the movie ^_^ that was weird.

The whole part where they look for the glasses. Too long and filled with cheap yucks. It could've been cut downt to a couple of minutes, and then they could've used that FX money for more relevant robot stuff.

There's one shot that drove me nuts both times I've seen it... the part where Ironhide is jumping, and we get the slow motion "spin around" the woman who screams only as he passes overhead. It was an unnecessary shot to being with, but the fact that she's striking a supermodel pose until right before Ironhide is overhead was just... ugh.

No, that was perfect. He is humble. Since when was he a kid? Aside from G1 of course.

I couldn't agree more. I'm really starting to see why so many of you people are so human phobic in TF's. I really am.

But that wasn't half as bad as that stupid stupid stupid Good Burger bullshit. She steals the signal??? And takes it to HIM??? And HE'S the only one who can crack it????

He was so stupid. So so so so so f u cking stupid.

I have to agree. The scenes with Maggie were kind of an off for me. When they were caught and eventually questioned by the FBI. What? I want to know what happens to Sam and the Autobots, not what she got herself into.

It seemed like they were trying to make her a major character with something tied to the overall story, but it wasn't doing anything.

The scene where the dog pees on Ironhide's foot. I could've done without that. [-(

I also thought Maggie was hotter than Mikaela.

I also didn't like the scenes with the army guy's family and his interaction with his fellow soldiers, too much background, not enough character development. Another part I hates was the whole lake scene where Sam and his friend tries to hang out but the jocks get in their way.

Frenzy hacking the computers. Did he have to be a complete spaz?

Prime saying my bad. Its bad enough when people say it let alone a fantasy robot.

Ironhide asking for permission to shoot the dog.

I thought the Bumblebee peeing on Agent Simmons scene was unnecessary and out-of-character for 'Bee. I'm not a big fan of bathroom humor (pee jokes, fart jokes, whatever). That's the one scene that just out-and-out makes me cringe. Even the Mojo-peeing-on-Ironhide scene didn't bother me as much because I thought Ironhide handled the scene very well, especially with his "it's going to rust" comment. Still could've done without both of those. Just seems like there could've been a smarter way to have two comedic moments at those points in the movie without reverting to pee jokes.

The only weird part for me was when Sam's friend started climbing the tree at the lake. That was awkward...

yea, i felt quite embaressed for all parties involved. kinda reminescent of the whole script really. a metaphor? nothing for these characters to do except climb up in a tree?
actually, the cop interogation scene was a bit of an eye closer. it was closed to be funning, but the cop/gun/50 cent line was just a bit much

Least favorite scene(s):

When the Autobots could easily remain hidden in the alley of Sam's house, but instead reveal themselves in a residential neighborhood and are sneaking around? C'mon.

Bumblebee pissing on the John Turturro.

Seeing so little of the Decepticons. I understand that you (should) want to meet the Autobots but let's get a little more Decepticons here. Starscream relegated to the last hour of the movie? Such a big character?

I didn't like the 'Bay' touches: after Starscream attacks in the city and Sam is reaching for the girl in that slow motion moment. So cliche.

Scorpinok NOT transforming? This is one of the first TF contacts, it's chasing the humans thru the desert, only to get killed and us not see the robot form?

The unfortunate misuse of John Turturro's acting abilities. (double moccachino WTF?)

Killing off Megatron. Who is going to resurrect him, if they are? Blackout was his biggest supporter and he is gone. It BETTER not be Starscream.

They don't bother melting down the dead TF'ers - instead buring them in the abyss?

After this rant, please let me go on the record as a G1 fan and say I enjoyed the film. As probably the rest of us (and as a SW fan) we all become 'armchair filmmakers' and have our own take on how it 'should' have been done. I have seen it 2x and will probably go in for a 3rd before the summer is over.

BTW - Sam's father was the best actor, along with Bernie Mac.

i didn't mind bumblebee peing on the S7 guy, I thought it was funny.

I didn't like all the stuff with the hacker girl, it was a waste of time that we could have had more robots in.

didn't like the amryguy's 'baby girl' line in the begginning, the slo-mo reach for the girl, and reall REALLY hated the shakey camera

You ever been in the military? It's required for a soldier to ask 'Permission to Speak' to a superior before making a request.

Why Jazz, Ratchet, and Ironhide didn't do that is beyond me. Bumblebee probably has better military courtesy.
