From what I've gathered in regards to TF4, the setting will be in the future, some of it on earth, some off. So here's my questions:

1. How far in the future do you think it will be set?

2. What alt modes will Optimus Prime and Bumblebee have? I can't imagine they'd stay the same vehicle, but maybe a souped up version (moreso than the updates 'Bee got throughout the first 3 films) could happen. I think they have to keep the same color scheme.

2.a. What about the other, potentially retuning 'Bots: Sideswipe, Dino, Ratchet, the Wreckers?

Well, I think it will be set in the near future, with sam being the main human still, but grown up. Like in his 30's-40's, played by a different actor. It's all been peaceful up until then. But a new threat arises, and him and the autobots are needed once again, yada yada...

Optimus and Bee are likely to look the same IMO. Bay cant keep his hands off sweet rides, so why fix whats not broken? they may soop up the alt and bot modes a bit, but ultimately, I think they will be the same. Also, Returning Dino and The Wreckers? For some reason, I dont see that happening. I mean, Michael Bay and his crew are probably famous by now for their inconsistancy.

NOt sure what other Alt mode BB would be. At this point, he looks best as a Camaro. Not even his orignal Bettle alt mode works and if they did decide to do this, it would be more of a down grade.

Prime could pull off an International Lonestar semi truck..

For the wreakers, change them to battle version Baja trucks instead of battle version Nascars. Have Sideswipe a ZR1 Corvette, Dino stays as a Ferrari 458 Italia, but give him a few upgrades like wheels, Black roof ETC.

There are plenty of alt modes i like to see in the next movie..

If hound makes an apearance I'd like to see him as a military Jeep and Trailbreaker as a raptor F-150 truck.

Dino would be the most interesting to redo & see redone, I reckon, theory being that he would remain a ferrari at all times. (Hot Rodino>>> Rodino Prime? I hope not!!)

Sideswipe would look good with a meaty engine block sticking out of his bonnet some. New extra heavy duty looking rims to compliment with some vents on the back to hint at a re-emerging Cybertronian look.

With Ironhide out of the picture, Bumblebee could benefit with his (Toy version) splash of silver under his doors, be it extra exhausts or whatever.

I wonder what Autobots should have highly obvious Cybertronian Tattoos? I'd be very interested to see Jolt try them on, I think.

Ratchet could do with some TLC. Change his entire Altbody without selecting a military 'specimen'. Can it be done?

Wreckers? Three new concept cars, unless Sunstreaker is written in, in which case anything currently in actual production that isn't a slap in the face to Ironhide.

By future I assume 2014.

Going by the past 3 films, any changes will be minor. Sideswipe became a convertible, Ratchet got a different deco, BB updated. I'd like to see less automobiles. Since the Bots work so closely with NEST, maybe any new guys can get some military alts. Warpath is just begging to be in the movies. Seriously, BANG ZOOM KAZOW = :michaelbay:

I agree they probably won't change the bots a whole lot and I would love to see an F150 Raptor in TF4 but I would use that for Trailbreaker. Hound needs to be a military Jeep. If we get to see Mirage, he can be an Indy car. Bluestreak would be great as any Porsche. Sunstreaker could be a Boss 302 Laguna Seca Mustang. Cliffjumper could be some sort of Chevy car (keep him small like Jolt). Keep in mind that the only autobot we've seen so far that isn't a GM offering has been Dino so I'm just dreaming with these ideas. If I truly get my wish Omega Supreme will show up as ...hmmm...lemme think.... :-?

As for the Deceps they need to be military vehicles/planes and if we get to see Thundercracker or Skywarp they could be F35's or even older planes like F18's or F15's would still be cool if they could weave it into the story

I want them to keep same alternate modes for already established characthers,i've already got attach to them looking the way they look.
As for new characthers i not sure yet... :-?

Optimus should still be a semi-truck, but add a new super mode to his trailer. Bumblebee should remain the same. The Dinobots and the Combaticons should return, Grimlock says so. "Me Grimlock want bruticus so I can smash him!" Also throw in Wheeljack as a race car, Hound as a military jeep, Springer as a helicopter and a car, and Skyfire as a fighter jet.
