I always assumed "Liar" was Ramjet due to the colour scheme and when Swindle gives "Liar" and "Sycophant"/Sunstorm helmets in "Decepticon Air" so he can tell them apart, it reinforces that he's basically Ramjet.

I never needed any "proof" for the names of the Starscream clones. It was painfully obvious to any Transformers fan who they were. I am glad they finally announced it though.

A question: Why is it always Ramjet that gets the special treatment? He is the only conehead to appear in the Animated series, and he is the only conehead who got a repaint of movie Starscream. Where are Dirge and Thrust? I know they are making a Thrust ROTF figure and theres an activators Dirge, but why is Ramjet so popular?

I have no idea. My favourite of the Coneheads is Dirge and he doesn't get his fair shake in the toy lines.

Slight OT: I think there's a female jet in the group. I have a feeling it's a reference to the 'Mary Sue' characters been created in fanfic. What's your opinion?

Yeah, Slipstream is her name. It could be a reference and the development staff on TFA like Derrick Wyatt are definitely close with the fan community so there may be a connection to the Mary Sue character. I haven't read much TF fanfic so I don't know how much of a reference there could be between the characters.

Yeah, Slipstream is her name. It could be a reference and the development staff on TFA like Derrick Wyatt are definitely close with the fan community so there may be a connection to the Mary Sue character. I haven't read much TF fanfic so I don't know how much of a reference there could be between the characters.

99%* of all TF fangirls like Starscream** and or the Seekers in general, 99.99%* of those want to have "bodily interaction" with Starscream and do so in fan-fic and fan-art while being represented by a female TF based on the 8mostly G1) Seeker body type.***

* Based on Dead Metal's own experience with TF fangirls and might be a bit exaggerated.
** We mean of course that they find him handsome sometimes even "damn hot".
*** I'm really enjoying writing like this.
