if you want him, go get it. for the price it's a good piece of work, though you can't expect some great play value from him (or so other reviewers have said). it's pretty cheap for a supposedly limited variant of LC.

Heh. I think that is going to be my plan. I just get confused when there are six different versions of the same figure, and I really don't want to end up with a figure thats completely see through.
But thanks! I appreciate the feedback.
zemper wrote:on variants, i think for every Lio Convoy release (regular ultra-size and Robot Masters) there are only 3 versions. the regular one's got Original, Black exclusive, and this one (Flash). RM's have regular, metalized, and black. so there ya go.

there are actually two variants of the regular sized black. one with teal claws and one with gold. Then of course there is the the previously mention lucky draw galva-lio convoy.

thanks for info. i want to see the gold-clawed ones, do you have a link to a pic of these? must be more rarer than regular black exclusives. Dengeki Hobby, i presume?
and man, oh man, oh man.... a lucky draw lio convoy.this world just isn't fair. LOL.
is it smothered in metallic gold? that just isn't... right. hahaha. too many exclusives in the world already.

It's smaller than the others (deluxe as opposed to ultra), but I've read that the smaller scale and slight retooling results in a better-made and more stable figure. The price is pretty great, too!
And there's also the $5 KO version commonly found at Big Lots... after reading this thread, I kinda want to repaint mine to match the Galva-Lio Convoy's colors.
