I think I might go with the tranforming dvd case for nostalgic reasons. It'll also be a first. The walmart dvd could easily be a dud and the metal case will be my 2nd pic still, but it doesn't do anything (cept look pretty).

The steelbook, as I saw it, seems to have Decepticon on one side, and Autobot on the other. And is made of a metal case.

The Tin cover is EITHER Autobot....or it is Decepticon. You choose which faction you want on the front of the tin case. And the details of the picture are raised up from the flat case.

So I kinda want the steelbook more than the Tin Cover now. x3 Cuz they're both metal. And I want BOTH factions on th cover.

It hurts. I really want the special ed with the prequel, but I'm just not fan enough to buy both seperately so I'll get the Prequel set and hope the special ed is cheap on ebay sometime. It huts, though. What were they thinking.

Target has the $5 giftcard with purchase of regular DVD and BB Evolution Pack.

Best Buy states that DVD and Metallic Exclusives must be purchased on same receipt to get the $5 off.

For Canadians, If you buy the Transformers movie at Zellers, they're giving a 10 dollar gift certificate.

If you buy the regular 1 disc ed. and the BB Evolutions 2-pack you get a $5 target giftcard. Not known if the same deal works w/ the special edition.

Walmart - looks like their excl. 2 pack contains: regular 1 disc TF movie and 1 exclusive animated prequel movie. Looks like it won't come with walmarts 2 disc special ed. only with the standard 1 dvd version.

Whew, that's good. I want the case as a novelty, and it's only a few dollars more than the non-transforming version. It said in the paper and online it's 15". It's over a foot tall? That's awsome .

Today, at TRU somebody told me that the animated prequel is also in the special ed animated movie. Can anyone verify this?

Though I might not be able to confirm... I would think that they wouldn't go through all the trouble of making an animated DVD only for it to come free with a DVD exclusive without a price hike. I'm sure they'll have it for sale somewhere or with another set... But that's just a guess.... unless the animation sucks?
