These are the things I saw that reminded me of G1 when I saw the movie. List some others that you saw.

Scenes:
Yellow VW Bug

In one scene you see what loos like G1 Ratchet and 2 Lime Green Construction vehicles.

Jazz jumping on Brawl and grabbing his tan turret was like in the G1 movie where Kup did that to Blitzwing.


When Prime hit Bonecrusher, his eyes popped out like Sludge in the G1 Movie.

Prime opening his chest like when he uses the Matrix.

Megatron using a mace like in the G1 cartoon.

Prime using an orange energon zxe like in the G1 cartoon.

I thought I saw it the first time, made sure I saw it clear the second time.

I was wondering if that was intentional, or a complete coincidence.

True, but it was orange like G1!

The G1 transformation sound when Blackout transformed for the first time.

Optimus Prime's "battle mask" looking like his original G1 face...

And Jazz's manually moving Devastator's turret,= Kup's sneak attack on Blitzwing in the original movie.

Remember Stan Bush saying one of his songs or something had a cameo? Anyone catch anything like that, because I did not.

They had it during the first blackout transform and when the cell phone came alive. also it was hidden and mixed with alot of the metal clanging when the bots transformed. They also made some of the clang sound like the g1 sound.

nokia camera phone made the g1 sound before getting incinerated.

I thought the phone was Speed Dial 800.

And one of the famous lines I also heard was from Megatron "You fight for the weak Optimus Prime."

I missed these, And I was looking for things like this.
Of course it's hard to miss the other things.

"Honey, can you call the city we have a blown transformer!"

Actuall, the little Nokia bot had Unicron's head.

I hate to be a griping punk but man, when I heard "At the end of this day, one shall stand, one shall fall" I got goosebumps all over! But it was delivered off screen, and all we saw was Sam on the ground getting rocks thrown at him. I just...that line could have had a little more substance in the delivery. Give me Prime on one end of the block, and Megatron on the other- cowboy/showdown style you know? I am grateful that all those lines were in there at all though, nice touches.

when mikaela asks sam if he thinks shes shallow. he says "no..i just think there is 'more than meets the eye' with you."
(or something like that)

Spike/Sam said "Oh ****" when Barricade was chasing him.

Yes I to was upset that that line was given over sam scuttling through a sewer rather then with a beautiful sweeping shot of the Prime Megs showdown

MEGATRONS CANNON!!! Thas was a cool homage!

I already made this thread. It seems to have disappeared.

Here's some things I listed that were homages to MTMTE alone:

1. Prime has a glowy orange melee weapon, and Megatron has a mace.

2. Decepticons being dumped in the ocean at the end.

3. Frenzy and Ravage both hack enemy computers.

But crap if I can remember the rest of them. (There was six total that I listed)

Even though it wasn't exactly the mace. I was thinking og Megatrons extended right hand, that had a chain attached to it, the weapon he uses on the building corner on Sam before he falls and Optimus catches him.
