Live action movie in Japanese Gen 1 timeline.

I've seen that in the Japanese Generation 1 timeline (on the Takaratomy TF site), the live action movie is included. I'm curious to find out how it fits in, what explanation is given?

It exists as a parallel timeline to the main TakG1 line that consists of almost everything else.
