My girlfriend wants us to get matching tattoos - she says I should get an autobot logo and she should get a decepticon logo and we should get them done together. She's not a fan so I'm a bit confused - what do you guys think?

Well, maybe you should get married and make her a fan.

Because later in her life she might think it's stupid, but she'll think of you. Oh well, I'm just jealous I don't have a girlfriend that would want to do that.

It'd be kinda silly for a non-fan to get such a tattoo, personally...best make her a fan first and then let her decide to get such a tat

And, lords forbid, you guys break up, she'd be stuck with a constant reminder of her ex inked on her!

She declared that she wanted to get a tattoo to declare her undying love for me but didn't want to do the cheesy name thing. I'm just not sure I want a transformers logo on my body permanantly! Although I love transformers and have always wanted to be one it seems a little immature to get a tattoo.

I only have one at the moment, but the last needle prick left me wanting more.

Sadly, I can't afford to get more at the moment, but soon I will be adding either a Lilly Munster, Jack Skellington, or a Morticia Addams tattoo to my arm.

Its a hard choice I swear!

...Maybe I'll get a coffin with bat wings...or a jack o lantern...or finally get the 13 I've wanted for years...

Indeed they are addictive...........But still.kewl nonetheless. Back to the Topic of the forum.........If she wants a tattoo of your hobby, well.......thats ncie of her.....but do you two think you will be forever together?. Cause if not she'll have a tattoo of a Con/Bot on her forever......and that migt get unconfortable for her at times.Its a tough choice for her......

Never mix tattoos and love. Nine times out of ten it won't end well. I love my wife more than anything and have been with her since we were in high school, but I'm not tattooing anything for her. And I have quite a few tattoos.

Get the "13"....a bit less overdone than the first 2 you listed!

I have a boatload of vampyre-style tattoo templates myself, for the moment I lose my insane phobia of needles... :grin:

and all I designed myself! I see no point in having someone else's art inked on my body permenantly..after all, I am an artist and there are a BUNCH of folks running around Earth with my art drilled into their skin! :lol:

She's now decided that she doesn't want a decepticon logo tattoo afterall but insists that I get an autobot logo. Says it'll be sexy. So originally she wanted a tattoo to declare her love for me and now she just wants me to get a tattoo for her that reflects my obsession. I think she's just being weird. She does that often. I'll just wait for it to pass.

I say get the logo! I intend to do a full sleeve or back piece of Tfs! Specifically soundwave! Every tattoo i have is something i hold dear. Well almost every tattoo i have. :lol:

I have a wolverine tattoo where he's standing next to a nameless tombstone under a full moon! That's on most of my lower leg. And i also have a kickass Mystique tattoo on my other leg same placement as the wolverine it's the cover from Mystique #1 by J.M.Linsner! And my right arm is half done with a sweet vampire demon girl with pumpkins, blackcat, flames and a skull and crossbones! I might get ratbat or mindwipe to complement her it would go with the theme! Tattoos rock! Get lots of em!
