Just got back from TRU hoping to find Animated Rodimus and Ironhide, no dice. However, TRU must have restocked on their MP Grimlocks, because there were three just sitting there. So yea, to anyone's who's interested, he should still be there.

Also, I went to Target to pick up some stuff for my classroom and saw that they completely restocked their Transformers isle. The exclusive 2 packs are there, as well as the HA Bumblebee with Sam's alternate outfit. There was 1 HA Jazz, but I picked him up.

The Target 2 packs actually look REALLY good with those loud and crazy color schemes. I'm seriously considering the packs that include Barricade and Tailwind because they have matching Japanese law enforcement paint jobs.

WolfDawg, what area are you from? I'll be heading to Monroe tomorrow on business for LSU so I'll be checking the TRU up there as well for Ani-Rodimus and Ironhide.

I live in Metairie (but I'm from New Orleans, which is like 10 minutes away). I go to Baton Rouge almost once a week though because my fiance's family lives there. Most (if not all) of my in store purchases are from stores that are on Veterans Highway (AKA Vets) which is basically the main street of Metairie.

Ha I'm the opposite, in BR but hit Metairie to see my family in St. Bernard every other week. Pre-K I used to have a nice little toy run starting with the NOLA-E TRU, then heading out to West Esplanade and working my way down vets hitting every store in sight. I didn't once see a Mindwipe out here but that Big-K sure came through for me!

Yea, pre-Katrina I used to hit up that TRU in the East all the time. That's where I got my Beast Wars and Armada fix Lol. These days, though, the only place to find Transformers is on Veterans. A few months ago, I had never seens a Mindwipe at all (which is why I ordered mine from Hasbro), but now the poor guy seems to be shelf-warming at K-Marts around here.

When I visit my future in-laws in BR, I never go hunting because I never really find anything. But maybe it's because I don't know my way around BR that well (I stick to the area around Siegen).

BR is kind of a suck hole for TF's but it has its hotspots. TRU is good in terms of distribution but gets picked over by scalpers quickly. When the first wave of Generations hit there they picked all but WFC Bumblebee from the shelves. I was able to call the one on Vets and get them to hold Thrust and Drift for me.

Anyway... places to lookin BR,
TRU on airline,
Target on Millerville (a block from my house so I visit it a LOT)
and the Wal-Marts on O'Neal and in Denham Springs. The DS Wal-mart is GREAT for getting in stock, not being picked over, and getting in exclusives in high numbers! If you go hunting out here just do me a favor and throw a shout out if you find anything!

Will do, and thanks for letting me know where the hot spots are. However, I must say that I'm surprised to hear that there are scalpers in BR. It's almost like I'm one of the only people in New Orleans interested in Transformers. I've NEVER had a problem with popular figures disappearing over night. Hell, MP Starscream shelf warmed for almost 6 months. And don't even get me started on the over saturation of Animated Arcee/Cybertronian Ratchet since day one.

Yeah I don't know the deal but its BAD here. I never experienced this in NOLA at all. Case in point, the day MP Grimlock launched all but one were sold by the time I got off of work and drove from LSU to airline.

Yeah, I've actually found out that one of my students reads the board but lurks. He flipped out when he walked in my office and saw Titanium and Alternator's Rodimus on the bookshelf. Based on leavings in the stores though I'm pretty positive it's scalper activity. On my mindwipe search I actually did find several of his casemate Defender Optimus Prime on the shelves. During an e-bay search I saw a $45 listed Mindwipe coming from BR. The only thing I can think is it's a college town and shortpacked figure scalping can be quick money to those with the time to do it.

Found the PCC wave 2 5 packs at the Walmart on West Esplanade in Kenner. Didn't see them anywhere elso though. I got the Rallybots and they pretty much suck.

Also, there was a lon HA Jazz there too.

Good luck with that Mazing. There was only one pack of Rallybots left and 2 packs of the Destructicons (or whatever the other 5 pack is) left. I doubt that the HA Jazz will last that long either. From my experiences with the HA line, get the figure ASAP because they go fast and aren't guaranteed to come back! I still haven't seen HA Mudflap and ended up getting help from a fellow Seibertronian from Canada. I've only seen 2 HA Jazzes, and I bought one.

They had Ironhide there earlier this week. But the pegs were so filled with Arcee and Ratchet that they only put out a couple.. And I missed out on Rodimus. I might swing by there, and if I find 2 Rodimi I will snag one for you.

I went over there and the pegs were still filled with Arcees and Ironhides. I asked an employee if they had any more in the back, he said they had a case but he could not get them for me. He said that his manager had to authorize him bringing things to the floor when they already had full pegs. I tried to explain that they were different figs and he looked at me like I was crazy.

I just walked out.

Figures. I just got back and saw the pegs filled to the brim with Arcee and Ratchet. I don't even bother asking employees if other figures are in the back anymore. Either they lie or look at me like I'm crazy. Guess we just hafta be patient

I have a ton of things to do today for my class (I'm a teacher and school starts tomorrow). Still, it's very much appreciated man! Being a Transformers collector for many years has taught me the art of patience

Hey Mazing, my fiancee' is driving out to Baton Rouge tomorrow and said she'd check TRU for a Rodimus figure (she can be pretty cool at times lol). Just wondering, do you think that Rodimus you put off to the side would still be there?
