'Cept that Hasbro could issue him as "Classics Wheeljack" and probably make some more money. Especially if they could work out some sort of wing setup for him.

He got off the Wheeljack bandwagon and went with a COOLER name.

But to be serious. Double A said he was suppose to be Wheeljack, they just couldn't use the name. However the Super Link version is infact named Wheeljack. Just like Cliffjumper is Sandstorm and Buckhead is Sprang. Oh and Shockblast is Laserwave.

Eh, it's not like Hasbro lost the rights to the name. It was mainly just the whole idiotic Armada Wheeljack situation biting them in the ass (Wheeljack becoming a 'Con because the name sounded "evil," FYI for the kiddies), and maybe an effort to keep yet another G1 name (Downshift).

They could've tried a bit harder.

You're completely right. I should have been a little more clear in what I was trying to say. There's always something name wise Hasbro rapes.

Along with them calling Ratchet homages "Red Alert" when they couldn't trademark Ratchet?
