Just got the confirmation e-mail regarding my pre-order, title says it all!

Well, looks like "March" came a little early.

hopefully the other couple sets will come just as quickly.

I'm okay with once a month, considering other items I'm expecting. However, I can't fault anyone for wanting to get a complete set sooner than later, or those who want the yellow set finished just to hear more about the green set being released.

I'd really like to have all of them at once. Tway they are releasing these, and like they released TFC's Hercules figures, it lets you play around with them individually for a bit and you don't end up trying to figure out if what mode you should be displaying first and stuff.

I'm glad BBTS has them now, as they have been on the Asian market for a few weeks now. Hopefully the yellow versions aren't as limited as they are claiming though, and that everyone gets them if they order them.

I hope more people will back up my sentiments on these guys once they've had them in hand.

Got my email this morning...did a little dance when i read it. As soon as it says ready to ship, it and battle tanker will be headed my way. It's still gonna be tough to wait 2 months for the other 4 though.

Aw crap! I was hoping to have more time.

Now I actually have to hope I lose a few eBay auctions!

Just checked the numbers on this set at BBTS. Only 18 left in stock at this time with another 60 sets on order/awaiting delivery. Not sure how many they had to begin with but it looks as though this may be a limited edition set that actually IS pretty limited.

Agreed, looking forward to having them in-hand. One thing does leave me a bit puzzled; why has Maketoys not shown us final images of the complete set? I'd really like to see some pictures of Giant in color-would also see what the final head design is going to look like. No use in keeping us in the dark on this any longer.

I'm not sure I understand the question. The first thing we saw of Giant was a complete prototype followed quickly by a comparison shot with a FP upgraded Bruticus for scale. Hercules was the one we didn't see complete until the 4th or 5th figure was up for order. If you mean a pic of the Giant in it's final colors, I guess they've been busy getting the figures shipped and ready to go early. Look at it this way: at this rate, you can have your entire Giant on your shelf by Easter (not to mention before TFC's first Hercules upgrade set ships!)

For all the speed this is coming out, I have yet to hear anything but glowing reviews!

They've showed us two of the three sets in color, why not show us them combined, even if two limbs are still prototypes. And considering they solicited feedback from fans via Encline as to what type of head they should release, we've never seen a close up of Giant's head-ever. Don't get me wrong, I've been in the Giant camp from day 1, but TFC flooded the internet with photos of Hercules as the project was on going, I'm just surprised we're at the ship date for set 1 with the other two just months away and still have so little to go on.

glad i got my preorder in for them. cant wait for my classics buildking now all i need is some reprolabels

it just occured to me that with the next set we may get our first look at giants head unless its coming with the last set which would be wierd.just a thought.

TFC was showing us pictures every step of the way because they had to prove they were still working on it. When the first ones were shipping they still didn't have hard prototypes of the last ones. They knew they weren't going to succeed on the faith and goodwill of a notoriously fickle fanbase, especially once Giant was shown complete and ready to go in the first photo. They needed the attention that constant access gave them or they might not have ever finished Hercules. The only question that we had with Giant was "Who the hell is Maktoys?"

Yeah, I had to cancel my order, but I picked back upon it today and now I gotta wait on the next batch. Oh well, was having it in my POL until they all came in anyways.....

i think its a good move for them because this a limited interest piece(the color anyway) even if an official reissue came out in these colors id pass but the posability on them completely sold me.

I have my set in my PoL. Really tempted to go ahead and ship so I can mess around with these two before I receive the other two sets.

super excited....just got the email from BBTS..shipping today!! Can't wait till these babies get here...really can't wait for April and May for the other 4 either

You're correct, my post wasn't clear. Meant to say that asides from the Tanker set, the only other product they have out is Bomber & Hover which are just being widely released now.

I'm wondering if they are gonna continue doing the minibots line.

Got these guys today, and while very nice figures I'm much happier with my Hercules figures.

I shipped my loot today so I should have them by Saturday.

Got my Bulldozer and Excavator today, and I'm really pleased with them. Great figures. Good size, excellent quality. Can't wait for the other two sets, especially since I can set him up next to my G2 Devastator!

Sold out already at BBTS? Guess they really were a limited run.

Got them sitting in my PoL, waiting for the others.
