I figure... some day when HasTak wants to release something big without R&D, they'll give us our Metrotitan. I'm patient.

It's possible.

I just expect that they'll re-release it in toy colors (gray instead of white).

I went ahead and bought Dystopia because I was interested in the Utopia mold, but not enough to replace my SDCC Metroplex. I kind of like having similar but different molds for the two characters.

That's the reasoning that almost broke me initially. But the wallet put the last nail in that coffin.

I wouldn't underestimate SDCCs desire to make money. It might not be anytime soon, but I would be willing to bet eventually they're going to repaint Generation Metroplex into Metrotitan. Just might be several years down the line.

Why do that when they can do G2 giftsets of the combiners from now until the end of time?

You assume they won't eventually do both?

I don't think they'll go back to Metroplex. If I had to put money on it, I think we're done with that mold.

Well, Unicron got repainted like . . . 3-4 times?

It may not be anytime in the near future, but I think it'll happen with Metroplex eventually. Then again, I guess Primus never got that repaint, did he? Hmm . . . :-?

I don't SDCC doing Metrotitan, but given time I'm sure it'll be released as an exclusive from someone.
