MakeToys MT-03G Giant (Green Ver.) Official Images and Pricing
Re: MakeToys MT-03G Giant (Green Ver.) Official Images and Pricing
That is the only thing I dont like about herc he's way to big to display with my other combiners like FP bruticus but giant will fit nice but when I put herc with classic figs it looks pretty good I can't do that with brut or giant. But no matter who you go with you will be happy they are both great combiners hasbro could only wish they could put out a combiner half as badass as both of these guys lol

Green Giant's been preordered!
I've been given some serious thought to selling off Herc. Now I'm thinking about actually doing it...

at least wait til they're both in-hand. only makes sense. not like Hercules is likely to lose any value any time soon.

Re: MakeToys MT-03G Giant (Green Ver.) Official Images and Pricing
Ya plus they have the herc upgrade kit for the arms which makes it just like giant and more g1 accurate I guess and gives more articulation. I pre ordered it off RK for $30 I think and you get a new gun new four arms and face sculpt or a whole head I'm not sure because they show a whole head in the pic. Plus the new lights they got coming out for it we will be able to light up his light piping when ever and probably make some really cool lighting effects and they have the purple barrel out for all the people who can't stand the green one lol. All I know is I'm not selling anything to get what I want I'm looking at what's out doing my research and not wasting my money on figures like sonicron lol. I bought all the old 3rd party kits and kept them all while friends sold some to get other things and now look how much money they go for

I'll get him, but ...
after I put aside some dough to pay for him. If Herc has taught me anything it's that there's no rush.

The only gripe I have with Giant is the individual weapons & Long Haul. They are all using the same weapons in bot mode, I think they need to make individual g1 like guns for each of them with the colors of the old scheme to. I personally think that Giant has more life & sleekness to him than Hercules, also with all the money people spend to get Hercules, you shouldn't have to spend more money to make him more g1 accurate where Giant is giving you that already. Giant looks better & is more accurate cartoon & toy wise. Hercules is cool in its own way but not in price, but this is & has been pre ordered can't wait!

I was able to resist Herc, but when they put it all in a nice juicy set like this...

I preordered with giving it little thought. Although I was kind of hoping this would come out around Christmas so I wouldn't have to use all of my extra spending cash on it. Now I hope the 3rd party masterpiece Soundwave comes out around Christmas instead.

Totally pre-ordered. Now... how can I get that much money that soon, since I already threw $160 at MMC Cyclops. Guess I might have to sell some stuff from my collection. =(

I dont think anybody here is "too stupid" as you chose to put it.
This was merely a discussion about different renditions of Devastator on what many here interpret to be a Devastator forum.
If a non-board member used the word "stupid" to describe a group of people on here, it would be an instant warning for trolling. I have no problems with you. But calling us "too stupid" because we went off topic is a bit inappropiate, you think ???

Huh... Just not digging it as much in green, especially with the stripes being red and white instead of black. While I agree it makes sense to prefer Devastator in green, this set to me just looks better in yellow and black. Plus I grew up with re-runs of G2 on tape, so I suppose it should also mean something to me for that reason.
Edit: I still have no idea why the crane is displayed that way on the green Giant's display image. Maybe the person taking the pictures wanted to give a nod to the movies... *shudder*

It wasn't for going off topic, I too often go off topic.
No it wasn't inappropriate, it was justified since the discussion wasn't "Well I like Hercules because bla bla bla." Or "I like Giant better because."
No it was just like all the previous times "Hercules sucks and you suck you stupid rich motherf**ker!" And "Giant sucks and you suck for liking it you dumb hobo!"
And
"My opinion is more valid than yours, because, ... f**k you that's why!"
And it would have gotten worse, just like all the previous times people decided to bring up one in a thread about the other. So yes, the word I used was harsh and a little much, but accurate keeping in mind the stupid drama we've all gone through, especially considering that the only way to stop it previously was to lock the threads.
