Yeppers, that looks like ol’ Bee from the G1 Cartoon.

The original MP Bee was an engenering marvel and I felt it looked like it came right off the TV. So far this looks a lot better and I'm interested in seeing if it too will have a "Masterpiece Moment" in the transformation.

Anyone else notice a very Armada Optimus Prime looking guy on the very far right of the showcase? Looks like a retool of POTP Optimus Prime with Armada Prime being the smaller bot. Can't tell who's the bigger one supposed to be tho

Y’all are talking about the thing next to the gigantic “White Prime” Magnus right? The sillhouette is definitely there, looks to be his “powerlinx” colors or whatever it was called toward the end of the series.

Speaking of gigantic, that Commander Class Jetfire is pretty huge.

I don't think I'm into this, the original is just fine. Unlike with Prime, new Bumblebees aren't as must-have for me. I am impressed by the articulation but otherwise I prefer the original look and proportions.

It also looks to me like in order to get a sleeker body they had to put all that vehicle bulk into the feet. That'll probably be great for his stability but it also looks weird.

Anyway, could be an awesome figure for those who are really into cartoon accuracy. I'll still be interested to see better images. I do hope they still plan on releasing Hound soon.

Is this a negative or a positive? Everyone has different taste, so I'm genuinely curious?

I hope that they do all the minibots in this style. Bee's alt mode is the biggest selling point for me. I'm mixed on the fake bot mode bits, but I don't know why. As long as all the parts tuck away neatly I should be fine.

There's an awful lot of unknowns in the wide shot to be excited for though.

I think they are leaning towards a positive.

And if this means an Awesome little Huffer, then I'm in too.
Heck! The whole gang for that matter. I'd probably just skip Bee.

For fun, here's MP-10 Spike in a die-cast super-deformed VW beetle. I got it before MP-21 was released to fill that gap.

The smaller one definitely looks like the Deluxe / Maxcon Armada Prime.

The larger one is too blurry to correctly see.

If its an Armada Prime that combines with his trailer, that would be completely out of left field.

Need more pics, closer ones at least.

A bit of both. All the "negative" will be rendered moot if this release encourages TakaraTomy to try and make that MP Cliffjumper in that same style, perhaps even as a retool.

I almost bought one of those very recently because I have such a roboner for SD beetles. I practically had to slap it out of my own hand

I agree they have an agenda and that's not a bad thing as it makes good business sense. Obviously speculative, but it may be possible to reshell the alt mode and retool the torso to be Cliffjumper. I don't have an issue with a retool/reshell if it looks the part and has a proper head.

I can see where you were going with Sunstreaker, with his back kibble and all, but not with the new Prime. His back and legs clean up quite nicely considering the transformation scheme, and the only reason he has a big backpack is to house the sound gimmick. Truck mode may be a little wobbly though, if that's what you meant.

Bumblebee though, I would really hope that his legs are mistransformed, because those huge stumps in the back are hard to be unseen. The rest though is fine for me, but I understand if you don't. I probably won't buy it either, because my budget makes it hard to justify 120$ for a deluxe, hyper advanced and articulated MP or not.

Glyph should be made from the MP-21 mold since her fictional design was more toy-accurate and MP-21 was closer to the original toy's proportions in robot mode than this new one is.

Same, I've only pulled Daniel out of the original's box once and that was a year later. They could do like Good Smile and have a base and DX version.
