It's because Magnus shot him in the face all those months back in Spotlight Ultra Magnus

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

When Ultra Magnus first caught up with Scorponok on Nebulos I had the impression that Scorponok was going to start the Headmaster program there but Ultra Magnus ruined it. We saw a heavily cyberized Nebulan in a glass tube in that issue.
Now in MD #1 Dante's implants are visible through his skin but Hunter, who apparently went through the same process looks completely normal. I know Scorponok is a much larger robot and therefore has a much larger head but he had to be hoisted into his exoskeleton before transforming into a head.
Does Hunter's exoskeleton immediately latch on to him if Sunstreaker goes from alt mode to robot?
Could the Hunter seen in MD #1 be an avatar? If so, then where is Hunter's body while in car mode?

They are, aren't they?Last I saw them, Ratchet could revive them on the Ark.

Have another good look at him, you'll notice that he has all this static stuff going on like the Holomater thingies the Autobots have. The dialogue even states that he'S a holomater thing.

Ahh, I see the the "static" now. That Hunter is holomatter. Cool.
But, where is Hunter physically in Sunstreaker?

He was trying but failed...Those were the best Humans in any TF fiction EVER!

Leonardo wrote:This was a good read. A little on the quick side but I felt it flowed a bit better than "Revelation" and certainly seems to have more to it than AHM (although Furman does have the benefit of twenty-three issues + spotlights to work from).
Can anyone clarify how much in-comic time has passed between "Infiltration #0" and "Maximun Dinobots #1"? There was a three week gap between "Escalation" and "Devastation", correct? So, is it about a month?
I like the fact that Hunter has a holomatter version of himself. Given what we've seen Bumblebee and Ironhide's holomatters do in previous issues, could Hunter effectively live out a normal life using his holomatter version?
Grimlock's transportation to the middle of Fallon kind of makes the Constructicons' scene in AHM #1 seem out of place to me. People must be aware of Transformers existence. Even with Skywatch shutting down all communications and stopping people from going in / out, surely someone would release info in the year that passes between this and AHM? Or is Skywatch going to get everyone in Fallon to sign a confidentiality agreement?
