-Instead of icicles on his wings, the translucent blue plastic makes it look as if huge chunks of his wings are supposed to be composed entirely of ice.
-Length of wings and distance between body and tips makes them appear useless
-Cripple fingers aren't hidden in vehicle mode
-Face is poorly hidden in vehicle mode
Leader Class
-Instead of metallic grey/silver with black details he's shiny plastic grey with metallic blue overspray, neon pink, and with black and gold details (and a lot of details left plastic grey and unpainted)
-Huge amount of kibble beneath the wings in vehicle mode makes them appear useless
-Backpack 'wings' kibble with big, glaring screws visible from the front in robot mode
-Hole in chest due to (what I assume is) inclusion of all-important 'automorph' gimmick
-Head is poorly hidden in vehicle mode
-Seriously... WTF is with the hot pink Vegas showgirl bits?
I really find it hard to understand why, if the designs were agreed to by Hasbro, the primary villain would have a design that apparently translates so poorly to toys. His Earth-mode isn't even a real vehicle, it's something the designers completely made-up. I can't say that I'm too keen on any of the toys, but they at least have a semi-faithful toy counterpart. Conversely, the only Megatron toy that looks remotely faithful to what's been seen in the promotional materials is the non-transforming one. The Leader class apparently has more kibble than Beast Wars II triple-changer Galvatron.

Megatron doesn't have an Earth mode, That is still his Cybertronian form. Actually Megatron is still in his "protoform" form like the sneak preview figures.

The colors are kind of boring, and their is quite a bit of kibble. But I really wanted to get him to stand next to Prime, I don't regret buying him.

I agree about the kibble. I still say he's a great figure. I couldn't put him down today...
BTW, it says you're in Pittsburgh (I'm in Greenville, near the Youngstown border), where was it that you found Megatron? I scoured every store in my area and the Youngstown area and I couldn't find one. I had to mail order...
